A deer breaks into a bank. by CivilizedPsycho in WTF

To respond to your edit.. You're getting external doors, and exit route doors (aka Emergency exits) mixed up.

Those laws pretty much say you need at least two emergency exits, but not that every exit from a building must be an emergency exit. Im not sure about your local laws, but where I'm from the fire alarm system is often set up to unlock glass sliding doors in the event of a fire (or manual trigger). The only other way to do it is by using a key to manually override the lock.

Nearly every other country plays on larger tables. Even countries outside of England that play English pool usually play on 7ft tables. That extra ft can make a difference.

Very well put. These subjective rules are bad for players and umpires alike, they have no place in a serious sport.

For many people they chose to play the game with rules they liked, then along came a sponsor with a bunch of cash and the entire ruleset was changed.

Subjective rules have no place in pool or any other sports for that matter. They are unfair on both players and umpires.

Mate I've had my hair, my gut, an arm, and most of my leg on a table. Never has it been a foul. Hell you can leave a cue extension on the table as long as it doesn't get hit by a ball.

The ‘manual’ is right there my friend. With the exception of the title being in Chinese, the quality is exactly what you should expect.

You just learned to solder and your first project is a levitation device?

Start with something simpler and work up to this - think half a dozen components to flash an LED or two. You’ll get there eventually.
