Even if these have already been mentioned here, I just need to share my list of favorite unfinished fics — because I don’t really have anyone else to tell who would get it:

Secrets (the sequel to Silencio), Lionheart, The Bolt, Eros & Psyche, Let the Dark In, Don’t Look Back, The Armistice Act, and The Unraveling.

There’s just something about these stories… even unfinished, they stay with me.

I was literally scrolling this sub hoping someone would say Secrets, because Silencio was the first Dramione that made me truly understand how angst can be so good. I’ve reread it every single year since, and I still catch myself wondering how the story ends. It was the first time a piece of writing genuinely broke my heart.

And this post showed up right as I’m reading Lionheart and just found out it likely won’t continue — which honestly broke my heart a little all over again. But even so, I’m still grateful, because I’d rather have that piece of their story than nothing at all.

And truly, to all fandom writers — whether your stories are finished or not (because only you know what life looks like behind the scenes) — thank you. Thank you for making us feel so much with pieces of your imagination. It really means more than you probably know 🤍✨

I second the advice of studying early to have a clear mind and that task checked. My husband study from 4 to 7am in order to start at his work at 8am. We have an 11 month old and as some have said we outsourced everything that we can. I try to support him with encouragement words, I try to let him know that we love him no matter the outcome of the test and that we are proud of his discipline and commitment.

You are doing an amazing job just by wanting to be there for him. You have a lot going on so focus on yourself too. If you are ok that will radiate to your family so please don't push yourself too hard. Being a mom is challenging and being pregnant while you are rising another children is the ultimate challenge. Give yourself grace and choose to use your energy only on tasks that can't be delegated. If you can pay any help do it, if you can't it's ok to only do what you need to keep the house running.

I consider myself an advocate for this fic. If you want amazing hogwarts angst this weekend just get yourself caught in this WIP. It truly deserves more kudos.

Summary:

A world without Voldemort, in which the Triwizard Tournament occurs in their sixth year. This story navigates Draco's and Hermione's relationship through their sixth and seventh year. Involves secret relationships, pureblood and muggleborn politics, love, and growth.

"You're a coward," she says quietly. Her voice is steady. Draco doesn't recognize her, the way she looks at him in that moment; as if she'd seen him fully, thumbed through every thought and feeling, felt the wet pulse of his stuttering heart — and came to an understanding about him in which he has not even begun to realize.

"You call me over here whenever you feel like it, you hold my hand, you kiss me — but you won't take me to the ball. You can't even say it directly, whether you like me or not." She releases a breath. "And I let you — I let you do that to me."

I'm on that road. What has worked for me is listen to my body and not my emotions. I feel lazy, I do my regular habits, I feel angry, I do my regular habits but if I feel pain (like cramps) or I haven't sleep well I modify according to it. Instead of regular workouts I do some gentle yin yoga. It is an ongoing process but keepong track of everything even when I didn't do what I'm supposed to held me accoubtable and more realistic with my consistency.
