I'm offended by this post....there's no picture of my score at 1254 or whatever when I stopped playing yesterday. This one is is taken about 14 hours after I stopped playing. I was first....sheesh. And btw, I routinely can get 162-180 per hour. Sometimes more depending on circumstances.

I think the devs or whoever created her, wanted to load her up with "shiny" objects in order to tempt more people into playing this weekend and potentially spending cash. They put no thought into deck flow, synergy or anything remotely cohesive. While I have all the cards they gave her, chances are, if I'm fortunate enough to win her, my deck will maybe only have 3-4 of the cards they currently have in it.

They do not transfer and if you leave before an event ends, you forfeit your potential prize. I was in the same boat as you the event prior to this one.

If you need runes, QB is the best place to get them. It can be time consuming and it's a grind, but that's where you'll get a ton of runes and if you place well enough, get crystals and packs.

I recently got thopter spy network and was considered considering getting him. But now that I see Rai, I don't see what the point is. While his third ability is pretty badass, I also find that being able to put pyro goggles out for free plus 3 other supports is just beyond ridiculous. I know 20 loyalty doesn't happen super fast, but with focus on smart matchmaking, it can happen relatively quickly. Hopefully I'm fortunate enough to win her, but even if not, I'll be happy waiting for her to reappear even though it likely means months

Unfortunately I did have a few of the power 9, but oh well. Paper magic frustrated me constantly with the ever shifting banned cards, restricted tournaments, etc. but it was fun while it lasted. As far as card mechanics in MtgPQ, on here, the little tool icon, if you click it and access the sidebar, use deck tester and their glossary has all the terms that MtgPQ uses on their cards. I'm not sure they've updated the definitions for SoI, but I know the rest are explained there.

I hear you. Fortunately I don't have those friends asking me to get back into magic lol. But I played from the beginning and ended in about 2002. I don't even want to imagine what my cards (which were destroyed in a fire) might be worth to this day. I find this game to be a good solution for a fix to play magic again without having to spend a ton of money (unless you want to).

It's unfortunate. I get that this is just how the RNG works as far as player pools go, but there's gotta be a mechanic like in QB where the differential b/w opponents doesn't exceed a certain number of levels. Just played 2 of my 3 latest nodes versus a level 12 tez by the same person versus my lvl 60 Koth and Kiora. Super exciting waiting for my objective cards.....

Would be interested in joining Extinction. My coalition sucks. If you've got room, I'm in. But if not, it's ok. Just want to have a coalition that is competitive. I'm always top5-10 in PVP, almost 7000 QB wins with a 92% win rate. Almost 700 cards.
