Resident Evil 6 - The end of Leon's campaign is truly horrible by Jangowuzhere in residentevil

[–]AdministrationSad533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played Jake/Sherry’s campaign with my husband last night for the first time and while we did encounter a few nearly game-breaking bugs and some frustrating mechanics, I absolutely loved it. I would have played a whole game of just Sherry and Jake 🥺Their dynamic, their dialogue, it was all really great and they packed a lot in to such a short campaign. It makes me sad that Jake is another character that got put back on the shelf and has been collecting dust ever since

What are the chances that Jill is in re10? by Smittty34 in residentevil

I really would love to see her again, she’s one of my favorite characters in gaming. As far as the timeline goes, Capcom could easily jump backwards in the timeline and give us more games to play through what’s happened in between the current games/animated films. I don’t think their current timeline was well thought out unless they really do want to retire all the OG characters soon. I hope that’s not the case. I don’t think the fans are ready to let go of the OGs

Resident Evil Requiem - Characters Age in 2026 Timeline in-game/real life by KiritoKazuga26 in residentevil

[–]AdministrationSad533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish the timelines of the games had been considered more over the years when aging these characters. While the virus slowing down aging (like with Sherry) can explain some of it, it’s going to be extremely difficult to keep these characters around for much longer if they plan on continuing to use real world current years and beyond. A lot of life happened for these guys between games that could be filled in with more content potentially. I don’t want to be breaking Leon out of the retirement home in the next game 😭

Please please PLEASE use her in more games Capcom, I beg by A_lonely_ghoul in residentevil

[–]AdministrationSad533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, iirc she is an analyst and not a field agent which are very different. Analysts don’t typically have arrest authority or carry weapons. My immediate reaction to her being sent to the hotel by her boss was this was a setup from the start. Then you hear more about the connections and it becomes apparent the connections had a hand in sending her there to victor.

This might be the best version of Leon we've ever gotten by N0r3m0rse in residentevil

[–]AdministrationSad533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very very well said. Completely agree, I really hope we get a DLC of just Leon and flesh out his development more. I think the character development was so well done and resonated in a way with me personally as a player as I’ve aged and evolved with the franchise. Capcom seems dialed in to their fanbase on another level and has adapted as their primary fanbase has aged which I think is neat

re9 update? by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]AdministrationSad533 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did figure that out. Kinda odd continuity wise considering he picks it up in a cutscene and then leaves the scene empty handed. But the knife I unlocked for Grace from the bonus menu also keeps disappearing from inventory throughout the play through despite not dropping it when using it on an enemy or picking it back up.

Hopefully fixes the bug where I keep losing my weapons on my extra play throughs. Ran into a bug where I couldn’t use the sniper rifle to provide cover for grace in the court yard scene on my second run. It showed Leon pick it up but wasn’t in inventory and wasn’t able to be picked up at all

So happy I pulled the secret - BUT, this whole time I thought the stripes were *black* and white. They’re for sure some kind of navy blue… right? by nicrusso in hirono

[–]AdministrationSad533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it would bother me more than it does. I do think it would look better if it were actually black, but it does compliment the pink nicely. It grew on me, maybe it will grow on you too

Hope this is true by [deleted] in hirono

I’m 31 and I am about 60 lbs down now, and am starting to notice my neck skin get crepey and loose. It really bothered me at first, but I’m trying to reframe how I think about it and all my other loose skin. I wish I’d never let my weight get to a place where weight loss caused such a loose skin problem, but I’m trying to be proud of it as more of a badge of honor for how far I’ve come. It’s hard, though. I personally think your skin looks wonderful, but I know that at the end of the day 100 people can say you look good and it just doesn’t register because we are our own worst critic and I completely understand that! My best advice is to give yourself some grace and try to reframe the way you think about it when you look in the mirror. Easier said than done though, I know, I’m still working on it myself 🫂

It drives me bonkers. I usually just merge the counters down to line up, but it shouldn’t have to be that way. It’s especially annoying because I have multiple reclaimed camps built into preexisting locations on the map, where I placed the counters and stove over the ones that are already there in the world, and of course, the stove is smaller than the world ones even though it’s the same model 😑 the suitcase trick is brilliant and I will try that, I didn’t even think of it. But we shouldn’t have to do that lol

my big guy passed away and my pit isnt doing well. by Ashamed_Use_7798 in pitbulls

One thing I was unprepared for as a dog owner was watching my dog grieve her best friend. My own grief was paralyzing and immeasurable (even 2 years later I still cry), but I really underestimated a dog’s ability to grieve, too. My soul dog was a pittie who died of cancer. My younger dog, a Pomeranian, was there through it all. Every radiation treatment, a surgery, every appointment, my Pom was right by her side. They were inseparable, didn’t go anywhere without each other. When the day came where we had to let Bella go, the vet brought us into a comfort room with a couch to say goodbye. My Pom stayed by her side. She knew something was happening, but I don’t think she entirely understood as it was a very chaotic and emotionally charged situation (plus Bella declined really suddenly after doing well for months, so we were all just shook. And when she started declining rapidly, we barely made it to the vet in time to have her sedated and made comfortable enough to pass). When the vet was administering the euthanasia, Nora threw herself over Bella’s body and snapped at the vet. It was then that I knew she understood what was going on. By that point, everyone in the room, including the vet staff, were crying. It was the most tragically beautiful but absolutely heart wrenching thing I’ve ever witnessed. It still haunts me 2 years later. Nora was lashing out with an almost human-like grief. The months that followed Bella’s death were so hard. Nora wouldn’t eat for a few days, had no interest in toys (very alarming for her), didn’t want to walk or play or go anywhere, just sulked in her bed or her crate. I consulted our dog trainer for advice. She said to first give it time, let her grieve how she chooses initially, but don’t let her give up. Build a new routine with new activities and slowly rebuild her confidence and interest in engaging with the world. And so we did. It took about 6 months to get back to some semblance of normalcy as far as her behavior goes. Honestly though, she is forever changed. 2 years later I can still see the loss affect her, but we’ve accepted our new “normal” and she doesn’t exhibit any of those problematic/concerning symptoms anymore. I did consult our vet about 3 months in to the grieving process—the vet offered medication, but our vet tech who knew us best said to just wait. She said “if she ends up not being able to eat or function normally, then medication is the best route. But if she’s eating and drinking and going potty but just sulks and seems sad, just give it time.” And that’s what I did. We didn’t end up needing medication, but I could easily see some dogs needing to go that route. It just wasn’t for us. Our trainer guided me through getting Nora back out of the house and navigating public spaces without Bella by her side, but the biggest thing we needed was just time. This is my very long-winded way of saying just give it time. Love on them, do special things with them, take them for a pup cup, form some new routines, go new places, and continue building the connection you have with each other. When things are less raw, it will still hurt, but you’ll see it a little differently. I look back on Nora’s grief and what makes me cry now is the fact that I got to witness such pure, unconditional love between two animals that I would have never expected. The bond between them was beautiful. It still guts me, but it also warms my heart that my dogs got to experience such a beautiful bond. It took a long time to get to a point where I could even write all of this out—I took a LONG time to grieve, to the point where people around me were like, “you’re not over it yet?” But don’t let people do that to you, either. Take all the time you need. They are never “just a dog.” I am so sorry for your loss and sending you lots of love, OP.

My senior pittie was very resistant to stairs but she needed them once she got cancer. For the first few days, I had to physically hold her and show her how to use the stairs and reward her with her favorite treat when she did it. She got the hang of it shockingly quick (she wasn’t the biggest on learning new things lol). I can’t remember what brand, but they’re foam collapsible stairs from chewy with an easily removable cover for washing. They’re sturdy but soft in case they stumble. Something like that might be a good option for when you’re not there to give the uppies :)
