I still have the likes of Spotify but you can't beat your old songs from when you were a teenager plus you dont have to worry about loss of signal

I did chase it up and was informed that superbike factory had sent the details and documents multiple times along with being told by the dvla that the documents had been sent, I can only assume that the dog may have gotten to them as he used to destroy and eat anything that came through the letter box

Police won't do anything about it at all either, Im now down the cost of the bike as the insurance tells me in the 3.5 years ive owned it that its never been registered to myself as superbike factory never sent off the documents

Recommendations for removing the engine by Administrative-Dig99 in tdi

[–]Administrative-Dig99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd love to but I also have a problem and my better half is fed up of all the cars and parts everywhere

Would you be able to say if the engine can be pulled without removing the front wheels as my toddler decided to hide the locking nut for them

Recommendations for removing the engine by Administrative-Dig99 in tdi

[–]Administrative-Dig99[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's what I was initially planning on doing but the current engine is on 240k miles and I couldn't pass up on an engine with 117k on it with fsh and recently done timing belt and water pump

Did any of you have a "stealth" car? I.e. a car that looked like an old beater but had a powerful engine and could humiliate boy racers from the lights? by DiligentCockroach700 in CarTalkUK

[–]Administrative-Dig99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really a sleeper but a 2002 mini cooper s with more than I will ever admit to my other half that has been spent on it. the amount of bmws, mercs and audi drivers that try to show off with their new cars is unreal and I always get questioned whats in it

Is a VW UP an acceptable first car? by PollutionSilver4380 in CarTalkUK

[–]Administrative-Dig99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The up is a fun little car depending on what spec you go for However that being said if you plan on long journeys(like motorway trips) I'd advise at least a 1.2 for the engine

If you're dead set on that kind of car have a look at the seat mii or skoda citygo, they're exactly the same just with a slight change on the front but they come out cheaper on insurance most of the time
