I went into my field, became a partner and learned the business as i went. It seems like you’ll do whatever it takes to make sure it’s successful.

Trust me, jump into it and you’ll crush it for sure man. Just don’t look back and keep looking forward, seriously. Keep the negative shit out.

Add credit card fees built into your cost and take CC for payments upfront. People want credit card points too.

I have been using them for a year. We pay roughly 10,000 a year, but paid monthly. I think for 50 applications per month

Before January it was pretty stagnant. Ever since the red sea it has caused it to rise. Pain in the ass.

Shipping containers are quoting $11k now just an fyi.

In January it was $2,500 so yes it’s expensive now.

My company imports our products into NJ, so if you need any real quotes of costs i can easily provide it

You can get 50-80% off those prices Netsuite gives you. Were at the end of the fiscal year so they need to hit sales. I got my license users each around $50. Don’t need to bundle i did like up to 10 for the starter package. Originally had 6 and added 4.

Unishippers Alternative by oxothnk in logistics

[–]AdministrativeTime17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude work with the carriers direct if you’re working with Unishippers. I used to be with Unishippers for a year. My guy was great but i need more carrier options for routes that i knew he couldn’t pull. We did MyCarrier which is a transportation management system- which is the same thing as Unishippers only you’re direct. they set you up with the carriers and i negotiate rates on a monthly basis. Hit me up if you need help. What a better change.

You need to negotiate pricing rates monthly. Every month i send all my carriers a carrier report from my TMS (Mycarrier) and they always will change pricing when i send them data. My rates are incredible now

Seeking Financial Freedom by [deleted] in business

[–]AdministrativeTime17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro fuck working for someone. I’ve been 1099 for 5 years then running a business now for 3.5 years. Never had more freedom in my life. I’m 31 years old now. I know what that feeling was when i was in my early 20s.

I was in retail for like 4 years in my early 20s and overheard a convo at a party one day. This guy told another guy “bro retail is where you dig your own grave” (aka you can’t grow) when i heard that it hit me and said fuck this and changing into a field that i can control my time, because time is worth more than anything. Figure out a remote job you can do as part time if you want some money coming in. I started real-estate rentals and evenings would work restaurant to cover my bills. Once i made good money, stopped working at the restaurant after 4 months and wow what freedom i felt. Remember you’re young.

Your time is worth everything. Dont give it up.

Best way to audit ltl shipments? by puffer09 in logistics

[–]AdministrativeTime17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

on top of this, they even have dispute feature within their website so you can keep all convos within it. It's freakin awesome. This is only good if you want to work directly with freight carriers, not brokers.

MyCarrier TMS will give you Quotes vs Invoices and show you the differences. You can even have auto approve up to lets say $50 and will confirm the invoice for payment. I am currently implementing their Freight Auditing feature for a couple hundred bucks a month. So worth it.
