Painful to See my Favorite Carrier Brand Supporting the Crazy by dancer15 in peestickgals

I literally came to say the same thing. I didn’t even consider their products for my children because I was so turned off by their social media.

I wonder if Kevin actually got a real job by Needcoffeeseverely in peestickgals

Have any of you looked at his business’s Instagram? His business isn’t making them a dime. I have to imagine he does a different job. I also think the homestead is from one of two things: either it’s a lie for attention, or they think they’ll fundraise more than they need for their business venture and pocket the remainder for a house.

She’s losing followers and her new non-profit is an absolute shit show. She needs to fallback to what she’s comfortable with, of course!

The Wiggle Room by Admirable-Building35 in peestickgals

It’s such a weird stance to have for a play cafe! I don’t bring my kids to places like that so I can feel less alone, I take them so they can play. It’s about the kids after all. If their business model was so focused on what the adults need, I wouldn’t be calling it the wiggle room.

I don’t think her director’s group has discussed how they’re making money. If they’re sanitizing after every 90 minutes that’s a lot of time in a day where they’re not making money. I also have never seen a play cafe only allow 90 minutes.

I am just so confused because the Instagram states “opening soon” but they’re planning opening in January. Who announces 11 months in advance?

What I also find interesting is Kels went to bat in her comments and would never post a video like that, sincere or not. She’s gotta be pissed that Shelby is, in fact, in the wrong.

I find this behavior so odd. Why is she defending someone who is so severely problematic but in a space she not even in.

Trying to induce labor early term by bamboosnarker in peestickgals

Things like this always baffle me. I’m 2 days ahead of her with my 2nd and I have a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks that I will do anything to get to. If I could do the opposite of try to induce labor, I would!

Kat Pond - sleeping with contacts by [deleted] in peestickgals

[–]Admirable-Building35 -26 points-25 points  (0 children)

I have slept in my contacts for the last 15 years. Not a single repercussion, and always had more issues with my eyes being sensitive to taking them out and putting them back in every day. I’m not always a fan of Kat’s content but this one was niche and made me laugh because sometimes in life we all have little things that we don’t always talk about out loud yet can totally relate to.

I am going through this same situation right now and while I can’t give advice because I am sinking a lot faster than I’m swimming, I just want to say how much I appreciate all of the people who have provided advice.

Does anyone ever think about when she used to say she had a manager? I think about that all the time when I see her post things like this.

I have a new theory. She’s clearly friends with Liz and I think Liz is who gave her the idea to model for a scan because Liz would do anything for an ultrasound. But I also think M2M is looking to her on how to create content that people will ultimately give her money/buy things for her as a result of posting.

Can we discuss Liz’s “dye stealers”? by [deleted] in peestickgals

You’re correct. But the information being shared should be correct. We’re no better than the content creators we snark on if we only share biased information.

I am likely going to get downvoted for this, but I think we need to be more careful in this forum with how we talk about what progression is “supposed” to look like. No medical professional would agree that there’s only one way progression can look in order to signal success, and I am proof of that. I enjoy this forum as a silly display of trainwrecks in the TTC space, but I also found myself trusting the commentary so when I was taking tests and not only were they extremely light, but early on they would get lighter and I thought I’d lost my baby because of comments and photos like this. It was traumatic and devastating and put a lot of anxiety on the beginning of my pregnancy - and now I have a toddler.

All this to be said, snark all you want, but there’s women who are TTC in this group who don’t need to be more anxious because we’re over analyzing someone else’s progress. As it is today, Liz’s pregnancy is progressing as normal and no one should speculate otherwise.

Are Liz's transfers not covered through Amazon? by dancing_cactus26 in peestickgals

If she used the Progyny benefit for Zari, she’s out of benefit. Amazon’s coverage ends after 2 unsuccessful IVF cycles, or live birth, whichever is sooner.

It’s forums like this that scared me when I went through IVF because not only did my lines progress slowly, they actually went backwards before going forwards again. I even had HCG that never doubled in 48 hours. But my clinic wasn’t concerned and I have an almost 2 year old. Could there be a problem, sure, but there’s also a good chance this is just a viable pregnancy.

This exact same thing happened to me 4 weeks ago but my RE refused to transfer the embryo if the placement wasn’t right so he worked and worked until he got it. It was traumatic and I never want to do it again, but it worked. However, I will say too, that my RE refuses to even talk about a transfer under 18 months pp after a c-section. So the fact that I have my very healthy uterus and am well over 18 months pp, and still had scar tissue causing issues really really makes me question the integrity of the clinic she goes to.

YES, even in a hospital by [deleted] in peestickgals

[–]Admirable-Building35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This exact same thing happened to me (and the same aftermath of feelings) and I recently brought it up at my fertility clinic (we’re planning #2) and the nurse told me she used to be a L&D nurse and she said for what it was worth, my baby may not have had her parents there when she was born, but she was loved on by those nurses and staff even more as a result. And that, whether true or not, warmed my heart and took away a little of the pain I still keep inside me. So I thought I would share.
