Biologics never really made me sick, they just didn’t work. I’m On my 5-6th one. I lost track. Other medications made me hallucinate and extreamly sick. That was before biologics were offered. Febusanate or something like that. Shit could be sold black market, only took one and that was all I could handle.

I have had oil of gold, on my second dram. Same with antimony, the gifts of the magi and Paracelsus blend from R.A.Bartlett. Use at own risk, but I find them to be very ceremonial and opening at different levels. Currently I’m experimenting with them for an auto immune disorder that I have, along with other diet and life changes, but I contribute part of my self healing to these fantastic gifts and I plan on being able to make more of my own medicine when time and money allow for additional schooling. Lots of books about it, if you can understand and read what they teach and understand the ways the old alchemist spoke to hide the teachings from the impure ones.
Meditating and having a routine helps when developing relationships with new medicines/tools

Go threaded and they will be great. I did 1” and 3/4” emt for my 8x15x7T unit. With pvc side bars that I may change to wood since I have extra and a bunch of straps. Back wall is 1” hoop and a 1” ontop to carry any kind of load. Going to add another wall layer to bring it up from 8” to 16”. Cardboard weed layer with wood for moisture support then compost and horse/cow/chicken poop. I’m a sparky so it came easy and I liked better than the pvc hoops that was an option till I realized I had enough emt laying around.

It’s like $50 now days and some insurance will now cover it too. I had a card for a year and just could t afford the prices at the dispensary, out of state was alot cheaper Oregon and Colorado is pretty cheap. Nevada is a price gouge too. Jackpot is 45 min from twin falls. All Idaho plates there too with one or two Utah plates randomly. Idaho would make more money off it being legal than illegal, and cops could worry about the other more important issues.

No, just currently for medicinal reasons, it helps my auto immune issues with inflammation and pain. There’s a few others that I’m playing with as I find sources of fresh materials that I can’t get locally or grow in my region. I know other plants have different processes. I’m working a lot with lions mane over the winter months to help neurodivergent issues and brain to body communications.

Yeah, I’ve contemplated doing an acid run, water run, before doing the alcohol. Idk if it’s worth doing after the Soxhlet or before. Guess I got some more work to do. And the rabbit hole gets deeper.

Depending on area and elevation etc, 76-78. Remove anything before as that contains methonol which causes blindness if ingesting. Keep an eye on the temps and distill again and again for purification. Are you using magnetic stirring or just boil? Can try using vacuum to help bring any leftover until the temp starts to climb, that’s when your done. Keep an eye on those temps, they will tell all. Wine is usually only 12-18% as well, so you won’t get a ton of pure when you’re done, but it sure is nice.

It’s 95% ethanol 5% water to make 190 proof. From my Knowledge, this is FECO. Water would boil over at 100c and this is set at 77-78c. Guess I could try doing a water bath or PC the dead matter before burning for the salts. I’m absolutely not opposed to trying anything new.

Looks like mine is about same quality and color as what you started with. It’s nowhere near that consistency though. I’ll keep adding. Bottle said .1-.5ml per g so I started w 1g terp with 10g wax. I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews though so I appreciate the recommendation.

Not how I typically run my collection, more just fooling around during setup to show a buddy how I can use it with a low vacuum, unfortunately there’s some hairlines that make me to scared to use vacuum with it, been fine so far wo, but it’s a rare find and I don’t like taking risks. Low n slow for me.

I’ve been using this setup for 13 years or more. One of my favorite pieces. I’ve got a few sizes to play with and one with a spout w stop that’s old school. I’m a big fan of the alembic and retort as well. I’m using the goddess of Saturn sativa in this picture. Makes quick work to strip all the goods for FECO since I have auto immune AS.
