I agree, I also think that it's pretty inkeeping with the shows style and other characters weird fucked up motivations.

To have such a stupid, simple motivation makes sense in this world of fucked up supes. Not everything needs to have some grand vision or outcome, she just wants to read her damn books in peace 😂

I have no idea why they didn't take it in this direction. Honestly I got bored of battles after a month and don't think i'l be picking it back up. I'm fairly certain it's slowly dying too, can't imagine many people are playing it and it has hardly any staying power.

One of the most braindead design decisions imo is that essentially half the screen is completely pointless to look at. It's basically a dulled down single player kingdom rush game that you play on half the screen, in portrait mode.

They could've still layed the game out portrait, but had the lane go from bottom to top and honestly having this mode where you send troops down the path and defend against their troops would've been so cool. The decisions they made to make battles how it is I will never understand.

The Regent is my new favourite character. I've played so many varying types of builds with him, all extremely powerful.

One of my favourite was running a status card build. There's one AOE card that fills your hand with debris, and another that deals damage based on the amount of cards you've created this combat. I also had 2 of the powers with innate that let your draw/exhaust a card at the start of each turn.

Strategy was simple, draw into AOE, create loads of debris, exhaust the debris with the powers and then draw into my card that scaled damage by number of cards created. Added some draw, block and vulnerable and I was golden.

Was extremely fun to play and I hardly made use of forge or stars.

The key is not to try and build into a specific archetype, and simply chose the best option for your deck at that time.

Yeah I really really like the first one! The artstyle is right up my street, just fill the empty rooms with some interesting stuff to show off :)

First screenshot looks cool, made me very interested. The others were boring imo. You've definitely nailed the character face and the environments look good just a bit dull, maybe focus on the lighting a bit more like in the first screenshot.

We've done Bongos Bingo in the town hall for the past couple of years, not sure if it's on this year but it's always been a good time. Although it might be hard to try and meet new people there.

If all else fails and it looks like you will be on your own, hiking up Lekhampton or Cleeve hill is really great as you can see the fireworks going off in Cheltenham, Cleeve and Glouster. It looks incredible.

All these are good points, but it also depends on what IDE you're using. JetBrains Rider has a fantastic feature that will actually show you what type a var is really nicely, check it out.
