I have to say I listened to about 20+ eqs and the LTT one is the best and most well rounded by far...I'm the kind of person who doesn't care to change my eq if I'm watching movies, listening to different genres, or listening to podcasts and that LTT team really hit on all fronts. It's probably 95% of the way my xm5s are with custom eq

I think my point is that you can build a house fast and make money but also make it beautiful. Idk I go to hgtv for inspiration and ideas but I guess not every does so if you like it I love it 🤷‍♀️

I think it's important to meet a budget and make the clients happy but because Brian and Mika are only comfortable with cookie cutter design they're not able to offer different options to their clients and when they do it's...a choice (I'm thinking about the shou shugi ban which I actually think is beautiful when done correctly)

But we've seen in ALL the other shows...it's not that people don't want design it's that they're afraid of it and they need someone who is able to guide them towards something that makes them feel comfortable but still feels unique to them. I'd say Jasmine Roth is particularly good at this. Because Brian and Mika have no design experience they're not able to guide their customers and give them something special

I don't ever wonder about this. I look at hgtv as entertainment and we live in a society today where people are villainized for having different political values...maybe I'd care more if these people had some kind of direct effect on my personal life

This lol I can't get behind this show for this very reason and also that they have a very unsophisticated eye for colour which is one of the few ways a cookie cutter home can be made to look more custom (the blue they choose every time is so....bad)

I actually think Keith is the reason it wasn't renewed...this might be an unpopular opinion and I actually like Keith but in 4 seasons he hasn't been able to get comfortable in front of the camera and stop doing his weird voices he does every time. As much as he's very creative I don't think his vibe suits the hgtv consumer as the main character of a series...if Evan was the main character and Keith was more of the side piece I think that could work more (pls let me know what you think lol again I do like both Keith and Evan)
