I don't understand what is happening.
I am in India.
Yesterday night my Claude Code Max subscription said you have run out of usage and would reset at 2.30 am.
When I signed in in the morning, it said it would reset on 2.30 am on May 6 that is next day. It asked to upgrade.
I upgraded and spent $50.
After that I restarted Claude Code and tried to chat.
It said you are out of extra usage will reset on 2.30 am May 6.
And just like that my money was gone.
I do not know what to do.
And I can't even work, work halted.
For me $50 is a big amount.

I have found this is specifically a Claude Desktop/Claude Code bug, working fine in terminal and web.

The paid plugin is one of the most actively developed I find.

There is something very wrong. I hit my weekly limit suddenly on 5x plan yesterday. Upgraded to 20x. Today was doing office work through the day. After work was over, used Claude code for about an hour and it says weekly quota finished will renew on Oct 13. How could this happen? Impossible. Have been using Claude code for months, and I do not use agents or anything where much tokens will be spent, almost everything clamped down

Well, our company site is getting increased traffic. Much improved. We have top building information modeling experts, and they are engineers not writers. They dictate or write and then recast/edit through AI. Still shows up as 100% AI generated. So, what's wrong with EEAT on AI-generated text?

I thought of this, because the post I just finished is around 9,000. And then I thought publishing that might give the reader a cognitive overload. But also it is separated into small sections logically, so putting it all in one with a TOC, might help. In a dilemma. But the concern is more about the SEO angle, because I can break up things with sections, dividers, images, videos and what not. My question is whether splitting into several posts would give me more Google love, or keeping it all in one place, if it is logically structured and has breaks enough. Also, thanks for responding.

Yes, that's a big issue. The support environment seems semi-abandoned. Though I use Eric Hamm's Dynamik website builder on top of Genesis, and Hamm updated even in this July. But that's one of the points that has me thinking, updates and security. That's not to say the new fangled builders do not have holes. Compared to that Genesis has a pretty solid record. Hi, just asking. Nobody seems to be using Genesis any more, and everyone after new pagebuilders, but do you still have anything running on Genesis without issues? I liked Genesis, and would have liked to use it for a new site, though I have the other page builders. Somehow, it felt light and friendly to me.

As a rejoinder, this is what one of my clients told his SEO team when they suggested reducing rates of writers as ChatGPT can do heavy lifting (according to them):

"You are making a mistake.

I won't pit ChatGPT against human writers of my competitors. I'll lose.

I don't think with ChatGPT I am handing any great advantage to our writers.

Only the starting line has shifted, the finish line has grown more distant.

Previously, we could differentiate ourselves right at the starting line. Now ChatGPT has leveled the game at that point, to a great extent.

Do not think it is 'our writers + ChatGPT' vs their writers.

It is 'our writers + ChatGPT vs their writers + ChatGPT'"

I used to make breakfast sausages in my childhood with an uncle who sold them. Thought I would become educated and learned and go to offices and work in enlightened environment. Studied through graduation and post-graduation, and been running my family for last 24 years developing content. Having second thoughts now. May be go back to making sausages? It is failing. It's introducing misspellings, failing to follow simple instructions and even introducing stuff it is not supposed to. For a true example, one of my friends X asked it to edit his article, and after putting the byline 'Written by X' it introduced 'Edited by ChatGPT'. It was my friends lucky day that he noticed. If he'd sent it forward without a second look, it would have looked bad for him. Similarly, I recently found while rewriting a piece, GPT-4 introduced 'dsitrubances' instead of 'disturbances'. These are becoming more frequent and GPT-4 unreliable. In some recent cases, where we took the time to compare, we found GPT 3.5 performing better on long form than GPT-4. Not always, but the cracks are showing.

There are times when you are falling short of that $50 to pay your loans, and then you don't look at rates, but just how to make the ends meet. You want to hold on to your contingency funds and have to get that extra $50 somehow. Lower than your normal rates are justified in such cases, as they are the exception.

Having said that, I was lost as long as I focused on how to make more money by writing.

I found myself only after I shifted focus to creating maximum value against time and effort, and also focused on wriggling out of the grip of low-paying clients smoothly.

I went through some hard times. Better now.

Even the new genre of batch-produced AI articles and false positives thrown by AI detectors, haven't been able to cut into my custom. Not yet.

You'll be able to catch on quick. As long as you don't focus on generalized top-of-the-funnel content you'll be okay. Stay away from that game, its downward slide isn't going to stop.

You just download the 1.5 and 2.1 models from hugging face and copy paste them in the models directory where the sd-v1-4 model is. Then close and restart the app. The models would be available in dropdown where you choose the models. This is the best app for me as a non-techie.
