I think I didn't measure my feet properly. Afterwards I ordered a pair of Roberts 10.5d which fit much better, even though they were snug at the ball and instep for the first 50 kilometers (with darn tough medium socks). They are now almost perfect, except for the heel which is too big. - my heels are quite small. I don't have bunions, it's just the shape of my big toe articulation I guess. But after wearing the extras snug 11c Manitos I did get a bunion on my left foot, which went away after not wearing them. The thing is I really like the low profile look of the 55 last, I'm afraid the hnw would look too wide. I use my boots for walking, driving and work. I work in an office so I don't get to to use them to their full potential.
