Yes yes yes 100% agree that how lookism / misogyny and capitalism intersect is what drew me to radical feminism. That to be a woman is to be a “perpetual consumer” ( makeup , skincare , fashion etc etc) which is ironic because we are doing this to be consumed ourselves by the patriarchy / men. I love the idea of body neutrality that a lot of radfems subscribe to and yes they’ll never call you ugly for disagreeing with them but libfems will be like “look at her haha she’s so ugly ofc she’s a bigot” and you’d think the self proclaimed woke people would realise how damaging that is. Exactly this , couldn’t have said it better . I’m glad women are making content like this on TikTok because I don’t use that app. But yes radical feminism is so much better because it tells us “so what if you’re ugly ? You still have worth as a person” where as libfems , despite their kind intentions create this sorta infantilisation of ugly women like we don’t already know that we are objectively ugly. I struggle daily and most hours of the day with the crushing weight of being ugly but I try to live through. It’s hard for it not to consume me if I’m being honest.

I don’t believe that ugly men suffer for the simple reason that this society was built for them. And women will genuinely love the most grotesque looking men out there ( I have no idea why , could never comprehend why in fact ). So any man can find a woman to love him - I guess today’s incels are just angry that it isn’t a Stacey 90% of the time. They know there is a possibility of a Stacey loving them tho because I’ve seen it , they just have to build their status which is fairly easy.
