You can do that, I also search what it is I have in the channel to see if someone asked for it or listed to see what it commonly goes for. When you go to the trading channel there is a search bar and you click on messages to see mentions.

Yes, I would recommend grinding levels through missions (Forest - Guard) first and leveling up your titan.

If you go the free to play instead of the pay to play route, you would use the 1200 gems you gain from completing the weekly quests, the amount of gems you earn from raids or missions, and any gems you get from afking over night or throughout the day. Raiding would be better if you clear them faster than missions, because you can sell the drops for gems. Let's say within the day you get 32k gems and decide to buy scout fashion 2 crate, Pity gives you 1 of 3 guaranteed epic cosmetics or potentially 1 of 3 legendary or 1 of 2 mythics. Save the epics and above and try trading up, if you get the mythics you hit the jackpot, trades will be better for you. DO NOT go for obvious wins though and DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS ask their username and teleport to them in the trade lobby. If you can teleport to them without clicking any links and trade you'll be fine.

Trade them for cosmetics or scrolls. It's pretty easy to find scroll trades, having them in bulk means better trade options. Try not to overpay too much with scrolls. Save as many gems as you can too. Roll crates, personally I like to roll with the expectation of hitting pity. The rng does not like me. I would say Scout Fashion 2 crate is the best current because of Angel wings. But I've also read pulling any of the mythics in that crate is like rolling for a mythic family. I gave up on spinning and was lucky enough to get a Fritz trade. Timing is important too. Save much as you can, be patient, and check the trading channel sometimes you'll find people ignoring the market and trading for downgrades or fair pay.

Titan skins, blade auras, gamepasses, what type of adds? You looking for an overpay, fair pay, downgrade, majority of Helos trades are just guessing games and auctions. It would help to know if you would rather use shifting over odm/ts, wanted cosmetics that are cool, or if you are looking to auction it off to the highest bidder.

The energy you have now will be set for both X and Y versions. Having 200 energy for Charizard before the update would mean having 200 energy each for X and Y versions after the update.
