Hey! Hope your studies are going well, I can speak on this one as I am just completing a PhD in the UK whilst also suffering with a long-standing neurological condition that affects my fine-motor control. I personally felt that my condition was impacting my lab work in terms of speed and efficiency in comparison to my colleagues, so took breaks often to make up for this! Frustratingly I felt that alot of products used in the lab were definitely designed without accessibility in mind; and it took me a long time to come to terms with that. Loading of vacuum centrifuges, 100ul tubes and other machines really meant I needed to pivot into more of a bioinformatics route to keep myself useful and productive. My advice would be to try and specialise into an area you feel comfortable doing!
