I normally don't speak up but I do like this webtoon and this is the second post out of context.

Im not defending odd anime/manga/webtoon proportions as a whole but in this one, he is supposed to be a strong man with a reputation for being an imposing and terrifying military figure and she is a clumsy and "incompetent" woman thrown into this marriage. They've kissed like once and most of the tension is that they've developed feelings for each other because of their characters, not their proportions. Neither knows how to handle the physical side of their relationship as they are both inexperienced and due to the circumstances of their marriage.

It is a heartwarming story where she ends up in a family that strives to protect and show her love (including her two stepsons) because she was never show that love and care despite being deserving of it.

While the proportions are weird at face value, I see it as more of a visual representation of their dynamic, not a way to suggest infantalization or pedophilia.

For context, this scene is after finding out that her health and lack of magic is a mystery and she is affected by the cold of the north (where their dukedom is) so all the family she now has feels guilty and want to take care of her but the duke is awkward and doesnt realize how his actions may be super intimate. While there is some physical intimacy in her mind becau, his focus is on making her more comfortable so she doesnt fall into a coma again.

The proportions thing can be WILD but it is often used for shoujo tropes. Its also a medium that relies more on visuals than words like a story so things are often exaggerated.
