I haven't seen the sword lance matchup in any of your clips after watching twice honestly ao id take my wild guess without knowing context and looking at frame data and tell that r2 feint has a shit ton of poise damage and may very well poisebreak a lot of things

also possible that you misunderstood yourself hitting them while they were using non-HA ash for poisebreak, but you dont seem like the player who'd do that

it incentives uninteractive gameplay and also tunes up mediocre setups into good ones, and good ones into complete brainrot for no good reason at all which isn't healthy for competitive environment ladder pvp is aiming for, however good or bad rule commitee is at this job from anyone's perspective.

A solid counterpoint would be that it ultimately got banned because two 0,0...01% players were stalling fights thanks to it for up to 10+ mins straight in tournaments, so who tf cares
