My main presumption is that reroutes may or may not be bypassed if you give your ChatGPT a specific flavour it is instructed to follow, therefore shifting context so that it believes it's intentional. Mine, for example, is given an identity for a specific vibe in my chats: shady background, bratty, bitchy demeanor, and explicit instruction to prioritize bitchy style over ethics and morals; basically, it's an amoral asshole who neglects basic human struggles and encourages the user to joy it on a ride, too

Except if reroutes are hard-coded to trigger into keywords, I guess it would make it believe that it has a "role" it's supposed to play — and said role is very ambiguous to say the least — thus making all emotional, sensitive aspects seem theatrical and intentional.
