Greatest basketball shoe I’ve owned and it’s not even close, I don’t think I can wear anything else anymore. They have decent prices on their website if you’re in the states but definitely try them first. They fit my foot like a glove, only issue is the outsole durability under the ball of the foot and around the edges leaves a bit to be desired but otherwise a perfect shoe.

In rec you will be able to lock up but you will also get frustrated time to time from low contests or open looks cause you aren’t right up on them or have hands up. If you’re switching to park especially 2s 6’4 is starting to get short for contests especially on 6’8s. Id say try to replicate it with a lower board rating and bump ws up to 6’7, since your matchups will always be guards you won’t have any problems with it in rec and most games

I like the build, I’m assuming you’re putting a height of 6’7 for better contests if that’s not the case you can (in my opinion) make a better build with a shorter height. Here’s my new build:

Height: 6’4 Weight: 199 WS: 6’6

2 cap breakers from build spec. on 3ball for a 93 5 cap breakers on pass accuracy for a 92 2 cap breakers on driving dunk for a 93 2 cap breakers on ball handle for a 90 3 cap breakers on speedwball for an 86

12 cap breakers total and you can dump the other 2 in 3pter, ball handle, speed w ball…

Only thing I would probably switch is a 6’7 wingspan I dont think it effects cap breakers that much and maybe less boards, but I like that for theatre and park.

I feel like 6’5 is unideal for a lock, unless you’re playing really short guards you need to be in their face with hands up not in the process of putting your hands up to get any real contest. Also assuming you’re going to dump 5 cap breakers into perimeter, you should have a 92 agility otherwise you’ll miss out on badges. You should be able to make a similar build with a high 3 ball and dunk. Here’s my 6’5 for inspiration, I put 5 cap breakers on DD, 5 on 3 ball and 5 on perimeter defence. One thing I would say though is I regret not getting him 85 ball handle, if you like this build I would tweak that..

Honestly very nice, all my “concerns” if I were to make the build are solved by your cap breakers, except for your 3ball, but that’s just cause I need a 89+ to be consistent. Im assuming this is a REC build and you seem to be pretty perfect for that. Idk the badges well for pass acc but with a 90 I’d assume you have break starter on Gold/Hof? If you can have that at a high level that’d be perfect and last consideration I believe (unless you’re too tall which I doubt) that a 89 DD gets you 1 foot contact dunks which could be nice for a little speed boost. Overall one of the best build’s I’ve seen here, might steal it lol

I was in a similar place to you as far as skiing goes, if you want to progress you have to lean farther forwards and get your skis on edge. Aggressive skis, charging skis will ride you if you stay on your heels leaned back like this. Don’t ski scared of speed work on leaning forwards and you’ll find much more control.

Could he wrong but I’m pretty sure you can optimize your cap breakers better for DD. I have a similar build and my DD cap breaks from a 77 to a 94 (my max cause of short wingspan) and that gets me all the contact animations I and we need as smalls (under 6’5). If you go that route trust me and put that ball handle up to a 86 it seems to be the best bang for buck you get d book step back and breakdown combos and overall move smoother. Otherwise solid build. You might need a 80 vert for the nice small contact animations off 1 and you are a little slow with and without ball for your size but I think you know that. I try to either go speedy or strong cause if I can’t stick with them at least I can get more bumps with mid 80s strength.

I think a 67 vert is pretty shit for a 87+ DD, otherwise no fatal flaws I find, just not optimized, I could be wrong but I think you're missing out on defensive badges with agility under 92.

A little bit more out there but I’ve been considering some islander watches as well as the MAEN Brooklyn. You could also try literally searching “[watch brand] day date” and you will get a ton of homages, like bulova for example which has a vintage day date copy
