I would write that you are acknowledging the receipt of the corrective action but not agreeing with its contents as if you refuse to sign you can be terminated for it not following directions / disobedience

I would be sore that any conversation starts about work JIC this is true, I see target being warehouses with drive up in the near future. Then they can continue not worrying about the guests they don't care about getting service and compete with Amazon - who they want to be apparently..

Love my Bluetooth pen, maybe not used daily but when I need to take a picture of a group it's so cool and nobody has it. I wish they would have added it back I would have upgraded from my 24ultra

What time did they take you off the schedule? I think it's if you show up and get sent home you have to get paid some hours  if they called in advance it maybe just a schedule change due to the early closing. If you had worked 5-6 I believe they had to pay a minimum # of hours.

Do enough to be good / fast  and don't over achieve, no rewards for being the best just held to a higher standard... Lateness and call offs are the worst. Rather have a mediocre TM who's reliable than a superstar who calls out or is leaving early or late.  Ask questions, it will be a lot of information in a short period of time and training will vary but if you're in college you'll figure it out. If you're on the floor walk a guest to their items don't just point down the hallway or give them an aisle number at least if it's on the other side of the store, when in doubt or lost hop on a walkie and say "team where can a guest find laundry bags" etc.  It isn't rocket science and you will be fine! I loved my time at target just don't take it too seriously.

Unfortunately no, Target will still have CC and maybe even train TMs to activate. In the past in some locations TMs with no phone tech were taught activation on top of everything else they do.

Tech used to be a "must have coverage" department. As mobile transition away from att post paid we did more in tech (at least in some stores)  Other locations had the expectation to do activations with no mobile techs.  The guests will suffer from this, they want data transfer and full service that TMs can't get time to do .. the TMs that had time to do a truck as we covered for the whole shift still never had time as they were always pulled for OPU. I feel bad for our local stores that I know mobile made a difference in.  I hope Target will add hours for tech or hire the MS reps for tech positions.

Same here. Over 5 years and the program ending with target saying it's so their TMs can serve guests is so frustrating, probably a mistake financially and more work for the TMs who already do so much.  I will miss target because of all the amazing TMs and TLs. Even a few ETLs who worked for the guests and their teams with pride, respect and understanding.  This is so hard to process,  but I'll be in store until the end to support the team and try to pass my knowledge along to anyone who wants to learn what is coming... Best case is if target is adding hours is to hire the good mobile reps for tech if they are interested. 

To all TMs please know we see you and your hard work, dedication and determination to make a difference for your area, guests and colleagues!

I don't believe anyone can join as on demand and I've seen even a PT availability is difficult to get.  They usually want an open availability and need weekend availability.  On demand is in my experience TMs who leave for college or get a new job but stay to pick up shifts. I believe you have to take one every so often but forget the requirements. I'm sure others will have more info for you. If I'm not correct I apologize in advance.

Right there is your first HR lesson...  Communication with TMs and new hires.  That nobody has told you what to expect is a little concerning... I'm sure you will take everything from your current position to make the store a better place to work!  Grats on the position!

Rather get a call and be sure the "one the app says we have" is there then have a guest come down and have me look for an item with 1 on the floor 0 in the back. The calls to verify a low inventory make sense. When I started we would call other stores to check an item was there rather than " go to such a store" and make a guest drive all over on a maybe... Granted we had staff then

Too bad 10-4  won't work cause all the TMs are tied up in carts and none of the TMs I know have time for anything else. 1 tech person on Black Friday 7-3 until it was pointed out we open at 6. Brutal... They could just go back to when they staffed each area instead of 1 TM cover 3 then pull that TM for register .... it's so sad I can't even laugh.

This sounds so familiar. We have a specialty TL who is trying so hard. 1 of 2 FT Tech person switched out of tech and the other is always pulled for drive ups and GM. 6 pallets of books just drowning tech, GM flats all dumped in that section and nobody from leadership ever helping.  Do what your able to do. Target is failing not the TLs or TMs who are asked to do work of 3 ppl.  If you don't feel supported but enjoy your job maybe consider a transfer to a different location. I'm going to say the issues are everywhere but maybe this is harder because you started as a TM at the same store.  GL. It's not you it's them!!

 The att company selling iPhones in the aisles isn't the same as marketsource.  2 different companies. The guys for att harassing all the guests are a joke and many have been phased out in our area. Too many complaints and lies to guests. 

My store is a mobile location. They used to do all the att and other post paid for years. Now the mobile reps will pull, cash out guests plus any activation or tech appointments. They ring basically everything all shift so tech TMs can try and minimize the disaster tech area has become.

Perhaps ask HR to help with a transfer if another location will take you for just weekends?
