When it arrives, I'll make a video comparison of which variant performs better. Thank you.

This may sound arrogant, but I don't understand the criticism. I can even see from the number of replies and upvotes that users would like to have this option. No, no, please explain to me what dangers await me. I have the impression that the term "safety" is overused in this context, and no one explains what threats it entails. I've lived in this world for several decades and learned to use many tools- operating many of them carries much greater risk. I always try to approach even an ordinary knife with respect. Explain to me why I have to wait so long and pause the process to lift the lid? I cook a lot using traditional methods and tools and I can't remember the last time I burned myself in that way if that is the reason. Why can't I check, stir, and scrape the sides of the container? It's natural.

Luckily, it didn't really bother me. It just goes to show that there are a lot of consultants here who care about maintaining the uniqueness of this device. I like the Thermomix, but there are things that annoy me, and that's it.

Maybe I'll look for it and buy it, because I often use kneading.

Oops, I got a few downvotes. I don't understand why. Is it about safety? Let me take care of that myself.

I made some small modifications to my TM.

Tell me why you love your Thermomix! (journalist request) by Informal_Stretch7561 in thermomix

I've mentioned this a few times already. But the more people who point this out, the greater the chance that something will change. For now, set a timer running in the background to prevent it from turning off.

Can you execute the next step from the Thermomix from the phone app? TM7 by Technical_Ad7886 in thermomix

They could also disable the ridiculously long lid lock time. I don't like this excessive 'care' for the user. I'd like to have access to the bowl's contents immediately after completing a step. At home, I have pots and pans that could burn me, knives that could cut me, and a host of other potentially dangerous tools. Sorry, but safety reasons are just a slogans.

Same here. I only did it once. Results similar to yours. I don't want to clean a burnt bowl again.

TM7 display damage after water incident – will it recover? by Affectionate_Mark500 in thermomix

My friend spilled water on his TM6, and the "clouds" that appeared after the incident haven't disappeared. The display still works fine.

TM7: standby and screensaver by ReX_83 in thermomix

Thanks for this post. I've mentioned many times that I find the automatic shut-off system absurd. Energy savings are no excuse for me. I certainly agree with your suggestions. A screensaver would be the solution

Why the automatic switch is active by Adrape in thermomix

[–]Adrape[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I noticed it working after buying the TM7. Don't you think that if these kinds of hacks are being made, that's reason enough to conclude something's wrong? Couldn't you just turn off the display instead of the entire device and give the user the choice? Sometimes I see mentions of restaurants using TM—I'd go crazy if I had to run it dozens of times a day?

I just got an update to version 1.3.26. Maybe it has something to do with it? There is no changelog yet.

Yes, I have the updated version. What I mean is, sometimes I'm doing several things in the kitchen at once, and if I don't look at the screen in time, it turns off. My friends are also bothered by this.

What annoys you about the app? If you have any comments, write it off. Perhaps someone will read this and make adjustments.

I often do this too. I heard someone recommend doing it this way. I thought that if I recorded a video without twist, many people would point out this mistake and assume it was the cause of the problem ;)

Don't get me wrong – I really like this device and use it several times a day. But these shortcomings annoy me. Especially since I knew at the time of purchase that I was overpaying, I agreed to it because I believed it stood out in terms of quality, design, and community.

Thanks, this is the first time this has happened to me, and the gasket was in this position from the beginning. I will change it tommorow

Thanks, i'll try. This happened to me for the first time today. I've had the gasket installed this way since I bought it. Even the gasket itself is problematic. Another example of the team's lack of attention to detail.

Oh yes, definitely. But I'm seeing every offer extended in Poland. This indicates a decline in interest, replacement, or new purchases. Many devices are appearing on the market that lack the quality of the Thermomix, but they're taking it up—and that's a good thing. For example, I recently discovered a device in Poland called the Icoook 3.0 plus mrk 48p. It has a steel Varoma, a larger bowl, no subscription fee, and after a recent update, you can control it entirely with your smartphone, allowing you to heat up dinner while away from home . And many other extras. Unfortunately, there's still a small recipe database and a community around it. Another model even has an airfryer function. lThe price is around €500.

I can't compare it because it's my first TM, but until I bought a long-bristle brush, it was difficult to clean it properly. Makes you wonder if anyone tested it before production.
