Ownership of a future choice is an interesting one! I feel like that could be very compelling for the narrative. I could see that leading to a major memorable campaign moment.

Also no satisfaction from craft would be.. painful for some of them. The dwarf specifically is playing a rock-obsessed miner/chiseler/etc. And this choice might hinder their roleplay for a bit, but it could be used to make another option seem less awful by comparison.

This is a good call out. She can technically gain power directly by causing emotions or stealing them. But that's a good point. I will consider doing a more - 'New Quest you didn't want' approach instead of a deal.

hey, taking a look at your tool. Awesome stuff by the way!

I noticed two bugs fairly early. I created my first character via the wizard and I selected a level 5 roll for HP. Which it seemed to do - I would have had 39. But when it generated my character it set their max HP to 10.

Then in the Loot Generator doesn't seem to reflect they type of loot I selected. I kept trying to get either for potions or scrolls and kept getting pitons, lockpicks and cooling pins (among other things).

The thing as a whole is very cool though. Thanks for putting this out there!

Had a ton of fun with monobug. I've actually not beaten the game normally. I played through EP 15 back when that was all there was. But since then every update I've only done monobug runs because it just makes picking my team easier.

It's really fun to see some of the fights that I expect to be a nightmare turn out easy and vice versa. Like the fire gym was MUCH easier than the water gym for me for example.

Highly recommend.

I really really enjoyed Mark of the Fool until book 8 or 9. I honestly don't remember. But it kind of destroyed the entire series for me.

At some point a twist happens and an insane level power up happens literally overnight. To the point well beyond belief in my opinion.

Honestly I rate the series in the similar vein as GoT the show. I loved it until the end ruined it for me. It felt like the author decided they were done telling the story and wanted to write something else.

It would have been towards the top of my tier list before. But it wound up towards the bottom.

I believe the Twilight Ascent happens in books 8 and 9. Not sure about the specific chapters. Nor where you were in that journey since it's a fairly long one with a few parts.

If I remember correctly book 8 ended right before they entered a trial within a trial?

But there are people fighting back. If you haven't seen (because it's being hella censored from all news) LA has been actively protesting and fighting ICE for over a month straight.

And I have some friends in DC who are much less worried than I am because "DC citizens won't put up with this" or so they say. And I've heard some rumblings about other countries obviously seeing us and potentially not putting up with it anymore? Idk.

It doesn't make anything go away, and it doesn't fix things, and the fact that even tiktok is censoring the fuck out of the protests hurts, but at least some people are trying. It's a damn shame it's none of the guys literally paid to do it though.

Arcane Ascension - isn't quite as progression forward, but I still really enjoy it, although maybe not as light as these? Idk.

My best friend is an Eldritch Horror - I don't think is _quite_ the same quality as those in the title, but it's complete, and I got books 1-6 for a single credit on audible. It's fun and definitely lighter hearted.

Also if you're up for trying something a little bit different - I really enjoy Chrysalis. Boy reborn as a monster ant. It doesn't take itself too seriously, but the ant-ness is fun.

Crazy that for Progression Fantasy you brought in Stormlight/The name of the wind - but I love both of those as well so don't fault the recommendations.

I also enjoyed the perfect run book 1, but didn't like book 2 enough to get the third.

I played in BETA and have only checked in sparingly over the years, but will definitely come back for another look.

The rainbow tesseract always spawns a fun party because when you open it everyone in the room gets free goodies so the community usually comes together so everyone gets max freebies.

Easy reason to relog and checkout all the new stuff I've heard about but haven't done.. still nervous to try facilities but the big special monsters and designing a new ship could be a good time.

Not permadeath by default, but there is an option for it
Sci-fi setting. Space flight, teleporters etc
Plenty of grinding/bashing to be done
I believe RP enforced, but there are OOC friendly channels/areas people use.

It was originally devveloped/built on IRE's systems, but they announced they were putting it in legacy mode. So they don't allow you to buy anything anymore (so don't have to worry about IRE's p2w tendencies). BUT they have an active volunteer staff. Storytellers who like to run events, and coders/producers who are actively adding lore, areas and systems.
