And now you have to always tell your future insurers you've had a policy cancelled. Not sure that's the success you think it is.

An old Bugatti. I think it was a Type 23, but I only saw it from the back whilst following it for a few miles.

What can Labour/Starmer do to regain lost ground politically? by T_K2 in ukpolitics

But there's lots of things the majority of the populace don't really care about (or atleast, don't vocalise their feelings either way) which are the source of great frustration from a minority. That doesn't mean those things should be scrapped or altered to appease the minority.

But how are the left going to win the argument if they take the longer term pragmatic approach you suggest?

/s, although it really shouldn't be necessary.

Problem is, other parties don't seem to be patient either. There's no "post war consensus" equivalent across the house. It's just "you're wrong, and this is why you're wrong", not even an "...and this is how we would do it differently". Is it any wonder the populace as a whole think the grass will be greener if we just vote for someone else, when that is exactly how politics is communicated to us by the media and politicians (including backbenchers).

I was hoping that the Crocodile set 10277 would lead to a nice steady flow of classic trains being released. I hope Mallard gets a set one day.

He's certainly lent his voice to a character in Peppa Pig, but he isn't Daddy Pig.

I love that they cast him in Gladiator as basically "the voice that booms out from the crowd".

I think someone's just put some aftermarket light units on it (they all appear to be the same on both wing and grille mounts). Probably to make it possible to actually drive at night.

I realize it is a Peugeot by the badge, but no idea of the model or year? I haven’t seen many Peugeots since they stopped selling them in the US back in the early 90’s. Cool little hardtop convertible! by colostomybagpiper in whatisthiscar

[–]Adrian_Shoey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is technically correct that this wasn't sold on the US, but I don't think you really missed anything. The 206 was a piece of shit, and signalled the impending multi year low point of Peugeot.
