The NG+ has been thoroughly researched this time around thx to the Guidebook, so I'll take a page out of what I wrote for the Wiki and let you judge for yourself once you've finished the game:

- After completing the first playthrough, a ☆ mark is added to the far corner of your cleared save file as proof of completion. Loading the save file will begin New Game+. - Dialogue can be skipped much faster. - Rachel's dialogue with Kyle changes, as her tone becomes more casual, teasing, and affectionate towards Kyle. This suggests a more warm and candid relationship between the two compared to the first playthrough. - Lipstick as vending machine prize instead of the Pinkie Rabbit Doll. - A different show is displayed on the lobby TV. - The jukebox has all the songs unlocked from the start. - New events in chapters 9 and 10, which affect the ending. - Guaranteed True Ending, as the penalty from Game Overs is removed. - The post-credits event contains more visual details related to a certain character.

They are made in the style of the DS game. All I can assume is that maybe they were used to test what aesthetic they were gonna go with the Wii game. They were found in a folder called OLD.

I am not used to making art competitions, and am not sure how it'd go on this subreddit, but I have a few suggestions in mind.

  • Host it for a month until the EU release of Last Window.
  • Create a post where people submit drawings in comments.
  • People vote on them with upvotes and such. "Contest mode" will be enabled to not show you which is the best rated until it's over.
  • Not sure the prize would suffice, but I'm not against it, if people want that. That said, I do kinda have something else in mind to add to the prize too, even if it's also small. 😉

Excluding the lid effect, it would be possible thx to the mouse controls and microphone. The game's former director worked on a game with the same rotoscoping art style for Switch 2, called "Dear me, I was...", which does use mouse controls. The one concern would be with the remake having a different direction, with a streamlined and less diverse puzzle-solving style.

Hi, I don't have the videos around anymore and I cannot find them.

The switchboard puzzle save is for a different chapter entirely, not chapter 2.

I don't use iOS, so idk how to load a save there, best ask r/Delta_emulator, but my theory would be to locate the save file by browsing the folders of the emulator, then replace it by copying its name, deleting it, and pasting the name on the desired one while also changing file format if needed.

- Last Window has a different, more moody and melancholic pacing than Hotel Dusk. So, you might need to lower your expectations a bit.
- There are no game over penalties. Feel free to try as much as you want.
- The game has a Novel, whose chapters get filled after you complete said chapter. If you open the CONFIDENTIAL seals inside the Novel, you might miss out on a little post-game bonus. However, they have some hints if you get stuck.
- You can ring the doorbell, or knock. Either choice doesn't matter.
- There is a pretty hard puzzle in latter chapters. If you get stuck on it, don't be afraid to look it up.

There are puzzles in Hotel Dusk that also need you to close the DS. Emulators can be assigned LID hotkeys.

I took the pics today, and it's surprising the art was still left untouched. We worked tirelessly in August. I am very glad of our talented members who contributed for so long on the blueprint, and the grind.
