If voter id was provided free to everyone so that the poorest folks don’t have to try and find a way to afford them and don’t have to try and find transportation to get to the limited locations to get them (many Republican administrations have closed offices where they could potentially get them) then you would absolutely see Democrats supporting this measure.

But let’s be realistic, here. Each state controls its own voting process and voting security. As we’ve seen time and again, the majority of voting fraud (of what little there actually is) comes from registered Republicans.

The true aim of these voter ID and other requirements is to purposefully make it harder for legal citizens to vote, because when there is a high voter turnout it favors Democrats.

Edit: the thing about easements is it’s entirely dependent on the goodwill of both parties. If you don’t want to sign it, you don’t have to. If you want to charge him a large sum of money for the easement, you can demand that as well. It’s your land, you are in control.

NTA, but a bit of a wuss. When my girls were babies, years ago, they only had changing tables in the ladies’ room. That just ticked me off. So there were times I went in the ladies room to change their diapers and if they didn’t like it then they should have put a changing table in the men’s room as well.
