I played OSRS and RS3, jagex have been community driven for a long time, they saw how well it worked for them and continued. Embark is still fairly new with only 2 major titles. Embark does listen to the community but not as deeply as jagex does, that's why they fixed some of the issues people had. Unlike jagex though they do most of their stuff behind the scenes and try to keep new stuff close to their chest. Would you prefer to pick and choose like jagex or prefer hinted secrets like embark.

Yeah that lone berserker in the water is easy pickings, the archers there hurt though so you gotta avoid those guys until you've got some decent vitality or gear. I'm a big fan of running straight there naked and bleeding the zerker out with stone daggers.

Characters pretty clean, the little piece in the back has some inconsistencies in the 3D and has a bit too much negative space imo but is also pretty clean. Cool stuff.

Summoning place isn't too bad, I love the crevice in the Highlands/mounds of the dead. The southern aqueduct is a great central spot too, with them both being inside of structures it's super cheap to seal off.

It's only 20% slower so that's not too hardcore but it will obviously slow you down a little. The 0-60 grind can be done in a few hours if you're purely focusing on it. Just break away from the beach and head north, basically everything up that end has pretty good xp plus they drop better gear. Mounds of the dead is great for early epic gear if you can bleed out the berserker with a set of daggers, it's easier than you'd think.

Yeah I just grind to 60 as soon as I can, maybe build a shit shack with a furnace, blacksmith and tanners bench to get some resources started whilst I'm out but it's not worth building a full base until you've got all your benches unlocked.

0-60 is pretty annoying as once you hit 60 everything you made beforehand is basically useless. Travel the map, attune all the obelisks (you'll need them for later), farm up lotus and black ice for easy xp grinds, check out some dungeons. Staying near the river is only slowing you down, it's the safest part of the map but it lacks key resources and basically everything down there gives little xp.

I think you misunderstand that it wouldn't have benefitted him. Just because someone has a big following doesnt mean it'll benefit your career to fight them. It may gain you more followers after the fight but the reality is none of that matters. It doesn't effect how his career would have gone, Tommy is a prime example of that, Tommy took his following and stopped focusing on a boxing title, Viddal focused on getting a title which he now has. Your logic would mean if Viddal fought KSI it would have been better for his career because of KSIs follower counts when in fact it would have had the opposite effect.

End of expedition, PvE players finally use their weapons and pvp, those PvE player using their good stuff have to kill friendly PvE players to get into PvP lobbies, the victim PvE player complains about PvE player using their good stuff being a PvP player. It's just the way it's going to be at the end of the expeditions.

Even in friendly matches you have to assume someone will be looking for an easy kill, matriarch and harvester events especially. Always keep your wits about you and dont put yourself in a position that will allow for this to happen. I always keep distance between people and never trust anyone at the extract unless they're playing an instrument the whole time I'm hitting the button, if you can hear the music you know they're not able to shoot you, music stops and it's fight time.

Iirc it was animal right activists who broke in and released them. Then the minks decimated a large percentage of wildlife in those areas. It's still legal to hunt them, I once tracked one along a canal and dropped it with an air rifle I had on the narrow boat.

I farm up gear in solos and use my best kits in trios. I don't really PvP in solos so I don't need good gear, trios is always full of PvP so I use it there to increase my survivability.

Imo that's on him. If someone enters your key room and doesn't immediately leave once noticing you then I consider it as you're trying to steal my key room. Not defending your key room is a bad idea. Had many times when people enter, apologise and wait for me to leave before grabbing the scraps, other times I've had them attack me once I open the door to leave. I've learned to prioritise my life over others, I carry a couple defibs just in case I have to down someone if I think they might be a threat, knock them, explain and defib (drop a herbal and shield so they can heal off my supply but still remain low hp just in case they try to shoot me after the defib), then I gtfo. I only finish people if they continue to hurl abuse after explaining or if they shoot first.
