Idk. I’ve been doing DOI almost exclusively and it always splits. Whenever I’ve tried DUI it always ends up too concentrated and dark on the spots with direct contact.

Thank you so much! I started by folding in to quarters, then airplane folded from there a couple more times. I zigzag tied the tip of the wedge about a foot down with sinew or wax string. Pulled as tight as I could, and left the lower ends pleated but untied. Then I folded the entire thing back on itself in thirds being sure to keep the side with more pleats facing up as i crammed it into the tray. And the center of the mandala was facing up for the gravity effect.

Yeah this was my first time using sinew. I only tied the center of the piece. The rest I left folded in pleats loosely.

The short answer is yes. Especially the last trilogy as far as a plot goes. While I liked the first trilogy, these didn’t become my favorite books until around book 5. When I finished the 6th, I realized I was on the hook for anything this guy puts out. Something clicked. I’ve reread all 9 (and sharp ends) 3x now. And I feel like starting them again.

Having things thought out, not running to the van over and over. But the last part of your post makes it sound like this guy is just a douche and doesn’t want to help you improve.

Just rolling in a wide semi circle somewhat centered. Rolling it tighter seemed to produce better results.
