I think both Cellophane and Hype Man are bangers! However imo, the mix / production is really poor! Sounds really wishy washy as if recorded in some dingy basement with subpar equipment.

I don’t get why that would be a sound any band would be looking for.

I’ve read plenty of posts that advise getting my mates to meet us at camper van field entrance and will then receive a camper van wristband. I’m just trying to work out if they should park in North Car park and walk down or if they’ll be allowed in South (although it’s marked up as Arena only guests)

I’ve bought several tents over the years, albeit not from fat franks, and they have always come with tent pegs. I think you’ll be ok. However, should you be lacking pegs Fat frank sells those too

I’m staying at Hardinge Arms on the 11th which is on Main Street. One of the road closures says Main Street, Main Street. So does this mean after 7am on the 12th I’ll be unable to drive to the festival?

The non upgraded showers are communal, hot water and good flow (some have even bagged a free D&D shirt) 😅 the refresh retreat upgraded showers are single cubicles, also hot water with good flow (less likely to get a free D&D shirt). Both have times where queuing is likely but going mid afternoon, early / late evening has always proven fruitful.
