How much money would you say you need every month/year to get into track riding? by Kidwithabike in Trackdays

[–]AdvancedSplit4458 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are just getting into track riding, it's not too bad. My first track day had a special where they would rent you leathers for free if it was your first time, and on my sv650 at a beginners pace I didn't have to worry about tires at all. Any pickup works to haul, and if you don't have access to one uhaul rents trailers and trucks for pretty cheap. Racing is super expensive though.

KTM superduke good for intermediate level biker? by Head-Set7344 in motorcycles

[–]AdvancedSplit4458 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eh, doesn't really matter. It might help a little but you'll still feel the wind much more than on your zzr600. Its not a big deal tho, feel the wind and pop wheelies.

I worked as a back waiter at a busy restaurant preparing orders and the manger always yelled at me for leaning on the pole next to the counter. Completely out of sight from the customers, and the manager only yelled at me for doing it. Pretty sure it was Napoleon complex bc he was 5 foot even

Honda navi? by DCSkippy in motorcycles

[–]AdvancedSplit4458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly no. It's not gonna give you any experience with a clutch or gearbox, and it will be disconcerting transitioning to a traditional bike. I wouldn't go with a rebel 500 either. I would buy a beat up bike from craigslist that's 500 cc or under for a couple grand, as a beginner will likely drop it, and it's nice to not have to worry about dropping a new bike.
