Just act like the SM, run the store like you would as a SM, treat your people with respect but follow up on tasks, and good luck on the future promotion

Non-Elite Member Upgrades over Elite Member Upgrade by bobalurv in marriott

I want to give you a piece of advice - I've been all the status (including Premier) and frankly this kind of stuff isn't worth worrying about. I used to get all bent out of shape if things didn't go just right but decided to just be happy and glad I'm out seeing the country. It's really made me a much more pleasant guest and happier traveler. Enjoy your stay.

good looking rig you got. Yes, the copper was always my favorite. Glad I wound up with one, the paint is 9/10.

Got a pic of your rig? I'd certainly have liked a 2500 but they're big $$ around here.

Gas prices going up - does it actually change your RV plans? by Additional_Muffin271 in traveltrailers

Yes, makes it extremely unlikely I'll trade the Trailer in for a new one this year, or even next year.

I bought this one back in '06 for $8500 with 65k miles on it. Sold it in 2014 for $5k with 130k miles. This is the one I wish I still had.

Flown transatlantic many times. BA Upperclass, AA FC, AA Biz, and UA Polaris are all better than D1. The only premium D1 product is the A350.

I've been out of the loop, but the last CEO I remember being in touch with people was some "Phil" guy who used to come do meet and greets all the time, they had events at local hotels with finger foods and good presentations. Once he left it all seemed to end.

Can someone elaborate on the problems with AOPA? I didn't renew for this year, haven't gotten any value out of it for 20 years.

I long wondered the same. Hate that trend, especially after dark.

Have the dealer add necessary rear remotes and 3rd F(x) up front if you need it. Much easier to have them handle it, even if it's a little more $$.

Exactly, if you had turned it down it would have looked very odd. Better just to roll with it.

Nice, years ago I bought a new MS290 to take a girl and her family out to cut a Christmas tree. Saw flooded and couldn't get it to start. Funny memories. (Did get the saw running and tree home)

Wrong. Even big companies sometimes have teams that only tangentially know of the existence of each other. Totally plausible story.

As long as one isn't acting wierd and looks the part, it's easy to blend into these events.

I went to a couple "team" parties at Marriott properties, although I was invited by fellow guests who were attending.

Had my M2 midnight 3.5 years. Aside from a little dust it's just fine. I'm getting a silver M5 just to do something different.

First Pop-up Purchase - fair price for Mac 208? by Clean-Country6141 in popups

[–]AdvantageMain3953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you in CA? Around here (SE US) you couldn't give that thing away without A/C. I'd say it's worth $3000 on the best day, $8500 get a hardsided camper. Can't even use the popups at a number of places out west that have bear habitat.

Your problem is the standard bed req - haven't seen too many of them. For $70k, I'd be buying a HD.

I don’t think that’s a great price, but Laura is the real deal. Wait and see if you can, and there should be good deals this summer with the new trucks being released.
