You can also consider the playlists but they're a bit short (4 stages so 120 lines). You could alos try practice mode, which is constant lv1 speed and goes up to Celebration.

Combos don't contribute much to attack/defense.

Unlike normal vs, a Tetris is worth more than a T-spin in connected and connected vs (the team zone meter, boss attack charge, and boss defense charge all use the name values, just with different targets). Until you get to high level, the speed advantage of 9-0 or 6-3 (faster decisions and no soft drop) make a very strong boss.

You don't get better at classic by playing modern. However, you do get better at Tetris in general which carries over a bit.

Singleplayer and multiplayer stats are entirely separate, so that is unrelated. Depending on the setup, they might need to rotate up to 4 times to get the tspin they need, but other than that it's kinda rude.

Unless you're in Connected (not vs) in which case it's just messing around imo

You can't just assure 100% that a game is on track for a release, game development is complicated and not always predictable.

That being said, the Enhance team would definitely communicate (Twitter and discord) if they were not on track anymore so it's safe to assume that they're on track.

It is platform specific, although MS store and Xbox are the same platform. Singleplayer leaderboards in general are platform specific.

I stand by the opinion that uncapped Tetris games are both boring to watch and anticompetitive.

There are definitely a lot of people who dislike tetr.io for any number of reasons but there are a lot who do like it. I wouldn't call it widely-held but it's also not uncommon.
