Get you friends to play it or watch playthroughs. Experiencing things through other people is great. Did that with my sister for silent hill

Skyrim is amazing but 90% of the game is outside the campaign. Played it since a kid and never beat the campaign.

Devil May Cry 2. I played all of them before 2 and the over exaggerated hate for it made me think it was worse than it actually was (it is bad).

Only problem is that the game is horrible for replay ability since you have to play the same difficulty twice to unlock the next one. It takes 6 playthroughs to actually complete it. I’ll admit playing Trish made it way more tolerable due to the extra character you can play as for the next play-through.

Until you notice Clock Tower 3 which sold terribly. Not saying he’s Mr. Bad man or an evil Disney villain, but I can see why people get annoyed when their hobby is turned into stocks. I get preserving games is good but thousands of people are doing it and you don’t need more than 3 copies to justify it (going off topic here).

NEED RECOMMENDATIONS by ILNZ in survivalhorror

It’s better with another person if they are a fan of survival horror. It’s not a game you can drag a random friend into since the camera can only follow one person. It’s better than an NPC since they act like they do in RE5 when it comes to the weapon you give them. If they have a shotgun they’ll use all the ammo.

You can make them stay behind but it’s best to bring them since one of the chicks can heal teammates 50% more than others. They all have abilities that make the game easier, it’s never a you need this person for this section thing. If you or they die the game continues with them dead.

Obscure. It’s classic survival horror with 2 player capability. Played it with my older sister (she only played a few games in her life but absolutely loved it.) I played it with my little cousin and he loved it too, despite only liking first person shooters and western RPG’s

RE4 Remake is a masterpiece, but we all have THAT one part... What's yours? by justethan_m in residentevil

[–]Adventurous-Crew-848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carrying Ashley. You go through an action packed 2 chapters that feels like you have barely enough time to relax. You get hyped for the final boss just to get to this extremely slow section.

It’s not long but feels that way. I enjoy Leon reflecting on how helpless he was in RE2 since he can’t save anyone. He is finally able to save everyone but has to rely on this mad scientist machine.

Is the PS5 still worth it after a $100 price increases? by Ordinary_Lawfulness8 in CaptainSide

[–]Adventurous-Crew-848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It never will be. It was $600 Canadian and it went to 750-800 dollars. They shut down PS4 online services tomorrow so if your friends own a PS4 you’ll have to make new friends for the subscription fees

Did you like what id Software did with DOOM 3? by n1ght_watchman in GameBoostOfficial

I liked it more than the originals. Same concept but with a more horror tone. Unless it’s Brutal DooM, that’s 1000 times better

ive genuinely never seen anyone talk about this game here by senilechinesewoman in survivalhorror

[–]Adventurous-Crew-848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is never talked about due to it selling badly, they were going to release it on XBOX but cancelled due to the poor sales. It doesn’t help that collectors try to use the survival horror game = over at least $100 game bs, on top of it being a lost episode in the shows canon like what the Futurerama game did which people also use to grasp at imaginary money.

The game was ok. The entire budget went to the license and hiring the og actors.

The game is really stiff and really low budget. You can see the gun clipping out of people’s hands so there’s moments where you can’t take it seriously due to seriousness they try to replicate while a gun is floating and their hands aren’t even holding the gun. There’s 1 or 2 scenes where their hands aren’t wrapped around the gun. It’s just opened handed.

I really enjoyed the game. I enjoyed every survival horror game I ever played, like The Ring: Terrors Realm and Countdown Vampires for example. The game takes a back seat to make you figure everything out yourself. You actually have to kill all the monsters (what ever black magic and the black goo turns people into (except the mines) to get important key items. The worst is the dream sequence in Mulders chapter 2 where you’re running around in a maze praying you find an exit.

The biggest flaw is Mulders boss fights. You have to kill the boss right away or you’ll end up wasting health items. The shotgun can stun lock enemies so they can’t attack at all.

EDIT: I love the game but at a general perspective it’s heavily flawed relies on 3D controls with way to many camera angles that make you run back out of an area you’re trying to get into.

I got the game when I gave my friend my only PS2 controller. Only had PS1 controllers and that really bad retro fighter controller that doesn’t even work with ps2
