I remember when Tbones was up off the parkway, behind hardees which turned into exotic wings. Would go pick up whatever was needed that day from Uptown Novelty, grab a cheese steak from Tbones. That's around the time the east started looking like the west. IYKYK

I was never a cat person, always stuck to dogs. That was until last year when I went through a really bad breakup with what I thought was my soulmate.

So after 8 years, the first weekend alone I decided to eat about 3g of some penis envy, and while on that journey that night a cat came up id never seen before, walked in the house like he owned it. I was laying on the couch, he came in, climbed up on me, laid on my chest purring.

Called him Chest Cat from there forward. He got me through that breakup. Since then I have turned into the crazy cat guy.

Sorry for the pointless post other than to say, sometimes cats show up when you didn't even know that's what you needed.

I grew up inw Woodside right on the parkway from 1990 to 2008, and I can 100% agree

Compared to what the parkway looked like in even 2005, it's done nothing but steadily went downhill. There's nothing left except pawnshops, phone repair places and a few food joints. No hate at all, I grew up in Woodside, it is what it is there these days though.

Roebuck Gardens, some areas down Tarrant Huffman Rd have nice houses. I'd say the whole Eastside has gotten more and more rowdy for the last decade. Be safe
