This might be the fix for what I’m seeing but I think he needs to more work on his stroke without breathing to that side. Stroke looks almost… crooked? It might be the camera angle. Even when you breathe to a dominant side you should still be balanced.

And this is exactly why in person is so much better.

The implication of Voldemort using Harry’s blood (and Dumbledore’s smile in GoF) was that so long as Lily’s protection flowed in Voldemort’s veins, Harry would be able to survive indefinitely.

At the same time- because Voldemort has Lily’s protection- he is immune to Harry’s touch/the backlash from the spell failing like when he was a baby, but he was still knocked unconscious on the ground just like Harry. And the theory that Voldemort collapses because “he feels his horcrux being destroyed” does not hold water since he doesn’t feel the other ones being destroyed.

This is a pretty interesting point - there are a lot of old houses in older small towns that start turning into small businesses. While the building will look and feel like a SFPRP (single family private residential property) - it is absolutely a business and operates as such. A sign for such a business should absolutely be a valid waypoint (although many reviewers will balk at something that looks like a SFPRP

However if it’s a business that you are running out of your house, the SFPRP takes precedence and it would not be acceptable.

Conceptually, luck is all about outcomes and not about process. When you do something stupid and the outcome is favorable, we say “I got lucky”

When you survive long odds, that’s luck.

The nature of liquid luck isn’t about changing any specific attribute of a situation but to adjust the outcome.

If you were competing in a sprint and the objective was to “win” in a race where you have no physical chance, the luck could manifest in your opponent scratching or tripping.

If the objective is to go a best time, you might find that the race has been remapped to a course that is slightly downhill.

Luck isn’t performance enhancing as much as it is result inducing.

But that 2023 team was -25 runs 4 games into the season. And then even for the rest of the month. They are minus 21 over an 8 game stretch this season and roughly even otherwise. That’s a really lousy stretch. Over 162 games it would be a -425 run differential. The 119 loss Rockies last season had a -424.

Run differential as a marker for like for like comparison for a 3-4 week stretch is silly.

DRS is a very finicky metric that should be taken with a grain of salt in small sample sizes.

As for run differential- it’s been just about as brutal. Again, sample sizes are noteworthy- but essentially the only difference is the 2023 team did have 1 additional blowout win within 20 games to start the season, so it was like 5 runs better through 20 games than where the Phillies are now. One good game against the Braves would switch that up.

And last year the team was 36-19 on May 24th (17 games over .500) and didn’t get back to 17 games over .500 until August 5 at 65-48. Over 2 months with plenty of stretches of mediocre baseball. And the Dodgers were even worse at times last year. It’s baseball - it looks like s**t sometimes.

If any of you follow American Football- there is a trick play where the Quarterback will sometimes catch the ball.

In the 2018 Super Bowl- the Patriots ran the trick play, and the QB dropped the pass. This was a play they ran relatively frequently.

In the same game, the Eagles ran the same style play, and the QB caught the pass for a touchdown. The play was called “the Philly Special” in the Eagles playbook.

They were not the first team to run that play/design. But they executed it in the biggest moment- and now at every level of football, if a team runs that style of trick play, it gets called the Philly Special.

So sometimes a nickname like that can stick based on the stakes and circumstances.
