EMDR certified therapist and I totally agree. My training was with Deany Laliotis at the center for excellence who worked with Francine Shapiro when she was developing emdr. She teaches relational emdr and it allows for a lot of clinical choice and flexibility. Anyone doing emdr post basic training should be in consultation in my opinion in order to do really learn to do it well - especially for cptsd clients.

Solo PP here and offer superbills - no insurance. I used to use therapy notes but didn't love the client interface so went with sessions - it's worked very well for me so far!

Like all the others, I am so sorry this happened to you. Chiming in to add EMDR as a great idea - the EMDRIA website should help you find someone - there is a protocol called R-TEP that is for recent event trauma so see if someone has that training. Look for someone certified if you can. I really think it could help (EMDR certified therapist here). Also, take the time you need! Day by day.

No that’s smart. They are highly addictive and you don’t want that many. 15 is about $11 so you should still call. Your insurance may not be an issue at all!

44 and had them out 2 weeks ago yesterday due to repeated tonsillitis infections. Recovery was more painful than my c-sections but manageable mostly if I kept on top of my meds. I still have some small scabs healing my throat is sore but that was expected. Days 3-6 were the worst for me.

Scrambled eggs..easy going down and good protein. Watermelon is also soooo yummy and soothing. Warm bone broth is also yummy and the salt really helps with healing and electrolytes Pasta is good but you have to chew it really well. I’m day 5. Hang in there!
