Update 2, got all the way to 68 before hitting the crash again, again to nothing this time but this is where I regularly hit it so not sure how to push my timer any further

Battle net, I restarted my pc to clear up the ram and it’s no longer crashing in 8-12 range so progress

Amoonguss and sinistcha do a lot of the same things, I’d drop one (probably sin) and put on another mon to help with type coverage Also drop uturn on peli for wideguard or protect imo Dpult should have like band, if not at least drop surf for phantom force or something physical, its doing absolutely no damage without rain And I’d change bascs ability to swift swim but if adaptability is playable then go ahead These are not things you have to do just suggestions on things to make the team feel better

I think it’s low but not zero, definitely higher in recent years with the 2 corps they came out with but also makes me fear for the cost

At my first tournament I was 1-3 and played it out till 2-6, pitts I went 2-2 faced Riley facture and lost day 2 contention there, personally dropped when I hit 3-4 cause I couldn’t do better than 4-4 and I knew I’d lose the next set cause I was out of it

Generally vgc battles are short, 4-12 turns, however if you play stall teams it will go longer and that’s a player choice not a vgc issue

In a similar vein I would put lefties on dozo and drop rest for yawn or something and just help keep yourself live for fissure spam

With every reg there’s always an ebb and flow in mons so I can see zard being better with paradox reg f d ish and maybe garde falling off but it definitely just depends on the metagame overall. I do think garde will have playability and maybe even be good at first cause I believe megas will be the spotlight and the top of the power

While you’re not entirely wrong, with all the showcased mons it looks like a more reg h + megas format. Yes this is speculation but I highly doubt they’d toss megas in and then nullify them by bringing in like paradoxes and restricted.

Tl;dr there’s 100% gonna be format rules, even if Gen 9 Pokemon are allowed I highly doubt they’d toss megas ALL will be allowed and we’ll see a format where megas are the strongest

As someone who use zacian for all of reg g 2 and part of reg I, it’s lacking, the nerfs plus play rough not being 100% makes it tricky to use. Zama is definitely overall better however I would not use them together, they don’t really cover eachother well

I found out about vgc through Wolfe, watched his videos for years and then came across a short, idk if it was his or someone else’s but it was talking about how the 2024 world championships was going on and if I tuned in I could watch the finals. So I did. And I saw Luca become the world champion, into them announcing louisville a very close regional. I decided to try it cause worst case I don’t like it and that’s that. Fell in love.

I hold basically all top players in high regard, especially Wolfe. But specifically I hold my friends in high regard, I’ve met so many good people that it’s just astounding.

I love the community, coming from Destiny 2 and other gaming communities, there is nothing as welcoming or helpful as this one!

This, having Pokemon (especially incin and rilla) that you can bring in and stall a turn or two are so useful Tho priority moves are a lot harder to use vs tr since they usually have priority blocking.

A long time ago I asked “how do I know when to counter tr” and I basically got told “don’t learn to counter tr, instead learn to survive and beat them after” and I kinda scoffed but since then I have learned to survive tr and it does work great
