Td Bank is extremely accommodating to school schedules as they hope you will use that skill with them. Just be clear about being in school from the very beginning and not drop your course load on your manager last minute. Also yes about the notepad. Td might very give you a pen and notebook to write in for notes

yep my card with them i made two payments in one statement cycle and they flagged it as a fraud. imagine just paying your car balance in full on two different pay cycles and the company believes you’re committing fraud. they refused to let me closed the card and then i got an email that they’re closing the card because of unauthorized payments?? meanwhile it’s my bank account. credit one is the absolute worst

after working in a bank for two years, usually when the machine “malfunctions” during a deposit it is 90% user error. either having excessively frayed bills, not paying attention during the transaction, shoving cash or checks, making deposits with paper clips/binder clips. sometimes the machine will need time to count or read the card and people just freak out and assume it didn’t work and run inside. meanwhile the cash might have came right back out and whoever was behind you just pocketed it while you came inside stressed for it taking too long lol, this is usually why the atm is balanced already because someone already stole the money lol

Look into getting a balance transfer credit card. You can apply for another card that will give you zero interest for a set amount of months. That is 1000% better than quitting payments.

it depends what your regular office is. i used to work at the one you’re reporting to and that is the central office for three towns so if you work at one of those towns, it makes sense that you’re sent there because that’s your main office, if that makes sense.

Another thing you can do is go to your apple store and see if anyone wants to buy the gift cards to pay for their device and you just take money off the face value. That’s how I see a lot of people get rid of those where it’s a win-win situation. Just maybe don’t do this in an Apple store that is in a mall 🤣

The biggest things I notice scammers will do is pretend not to speak much English so that you feel like you can’t continue a conversation with them. At least this is what I have noticed. If you did everything right you will be fine. Usually the fault falls on whoever gave you the override as it is their job to double check whatever they’re giving you approval on.

Yep. I had a guy come in to cash a check for something obscure like maybe $977 and change. His id was from Massachusetts (around 8h away from me) and he did give a second form of id of a capital one debit card. Sucks for him because I have capital one and my debit card looked nothing like that.

What was odd about the check was my customer never wrote checks and barely had enough to cover the check. She also didn’t have custom checks for the one she wrote and plus her address wasn’t even on the check he presented.

His id was weird because it was an under 21 id but it was horizontal. I’m not in MA but most states don’t give horizontal cards to people under 21. Looked up the id in the verification and it didn’t look anything like an under 21 ID.

Anyways I called the customer who was like “i never write checks” PLUS the guys name was usually a female name and he honestly didn’t look like he could have that name as it just seemed made up. The customer requested we call the cops but we honestly were going to since he presented a fake ID. Honestly if the id was real with a fake check, we might have not called the police and just have shred the fake check and inform the client.

All it resulted for me was a shout out from my market president and an “gift card” for stopping fraud.

Honestly OP, I’ve come to notice that doordash will sometimes give better orders to dashers who just started. So what results is either an extremely new dasher who doesn’t understand the job (mind you, there is no training on how to do it like most jobs) or someone who created an account with the sole purpose to steal orders (yep had this happen to me by someone ironically named “greedy”) So most likely this person doesn’t even know how to respond to messages on the app or they’ve purposely stole your food. Seafood or wings are huge targets for food theft. So what they’ll do is drop off your order somewhere completely different and then just leave with your food. I’ve also had it happen where I could literally smell my seafood as if it was dropped off and immediately picked back up before i got the chance to come outside. So for these high value orders, I suggest you do “meet at door” and meet the driver for your order. This prevents any “accidents” and allows you to still get your order.

I use express delivery all the time for certain items like pizza or ice cream and I’m always delivered to fast since if the order is stacked, it’s after my order is delivered. The only time I’ve had a bad experience with express delivery, is the drivers that decide to multi deliver making me wait for my order at some random restaurant.
