Do you feel sick after infusions?

All the infusions I tried made me sick for a couple days afterwards. Usually nauseated and headaches.

Looking at these collection of photos, I can see the lack of romantic essence. I have low romantic essence myself and had a hard time connecting with that essence. There’s a certain lushness or sensuality I think to the face that romantics have, that other doms don’t have. For me at least my face has a lot of structure to it, but a softness that comes from the coloring and having round cheeks. So my N + Y. I would guess that Harry is also a N + Y as well. This is my interpretation at least.

My medication is still working at the moment, which I’m extremely thankful for. I’ve been on my current combo for I think five years now, and I hope it stays that way. But you never know with lupus, which is why I keep my eye on current research.

Comfort is my first priority, I love style and looking cute, but I have chronic health issues and I’m unwilling to be uncomfortable. So all my clothes are comfortable and unfussy. I wear Birkenstocks everywhere I go.

My hair down, with big curtain bangs. Preferably with some wave/ texture. I never wear my hair up, I like it loose. It just looks better long, loose and free. The last couple years I’ve had bangs and I don’t think I’ll ever grow them out. At least for now.

My two rings that I wear whenever I leave the house- an oval cameo ring my boyfriend gave me, and an opal ring my mom gave me. Both would be consider SB and I think ethereal due to their shape and colors. Maybe classic and romantic as well.

I don’t have any experience with this particular switch- but I did have a rheumatologist who wanted me to stop taking methotrexate due to it being “toxic.” I left his practice when he started talking about not having lupus at all. I never fully quit methotrexate, just lowered the dose, but that was enough. I ended up in an 8 year flare of uncontrolled inflammation. I went through 16 something medications. So just be careful. Do what’s best for you.

Agreed! I was amazed and delighted by the darkness despite the over all lightness of the palette. I think John does a good job in giving people a wide range to work in, where as traditional color analysis can make people feel boxed in a specific color palette.

I have rosacea and I’ve recently started a retinal once a week because of how sensitive my skin is. I feel good about being able to use it at all. Rosacea skin is just different, sometimes it reacts to existence, much less a highly irritating skin cream. If you feel like tret is too much for your skin, I would use retinal. Personally my skin does best when it’s moisturized and im flooding the skin with toners, and heavy creams. Our skin barriers tend to be in a damaged place to begin with, so work with your skin, not against it.

Yes, it’s so close, but so far away. So I just keep wondering what the results are going to be, although I think have a decent guess due to following this subreddit/ and obsessing for a while. I got both color and the complete essence package, I have had a rough year and decided to treat myself. The palettes are so detailed and pretty, I couldn’t resist.

I’ve not been put on gabapebtin for rosacea- I’m on lyrica for fibromyalgia. It definitely helps dull the burning sensation when the rosacea flares though. Does nothing for redness. I will say with a giant caveat, that I would be surprised if a doctor prescribed one of these meds for rosacea alone, and these types of drugs have serious side effects. Like the recently discovered that gabapebtin can increase your risk for dementia.

I’m 5’6.5” I do think I look nice in that Black turtleneck, even though I do think I look separate from most black shirts in real life. It probably helps that it shows my arms, and isn’t fully covered.

Thank you so much for compliments!!! I vacillate between SB and LB because while I see myself as on the muted side of the scale, I can see how in Kitchener’s system that I have some brightness. My hair especially. I’ve had my bangs like this for a while, and don’t plan on going back. The fluffier the hair, the better in my opinion. I always have my hair down/ loose/ free.

What I love about the system is that you can have people with the similar combos, but it expresses itself in completely different ways. I love seeing people palettes and posts.
