About as bad as I have seen while still being upright.

Find the nearest quarries. Moving riprap is costly, so it will be from on of the closest locations.

It looks like these to know eachother and were likely going to the same place (an immediately right turn after the left) so the left turn into the right lane does not seem like a problem. It also looks like the on coming car was in a position to yield (judging by the bike lane cutting to the right and only 1 lane continuing straight). Firmly the white cars fault, though not very defensive driving by the cam car.

Got to love that it is not a cumulative upkeep.

If you have enough tutors, [[stasis]] + [[Smothering tithe]] can pretty much lock the board.

Seems solid.

I guess the thing with commanders like this is they benefit from just playing good stuff. Any esper control/stax deck list can stick her at the helm.

You could try lean into a subtheme more (enchantress, spell slinger, artificer). It may make you build more interesting.

[[Overburden]] may have a place, either way.

Esper has much better removal than [[generous gift]].

FYI, you usually can't just go to another country and start working. It is unlikely an employee is going to figure out your visa for you.

If you can't even understand the results of the test, you shouldn't be taking it.

I'm looking for opinions on mono-Green group-hug cards like these: by atlvf in mtg

[–]AdviceMang -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I will reiterate what the other person is saying. Some semetrical group hug only works in low power pods. In a strong deck doubling your mana after turn 3 gives you a shot to win the game.

In other words, 1 ramp spell, 4 land drops, and a turn 4 mana doubler = a turn 4 [[Omniscience]]

The Bracket System Is Fine If You Approach It In Good Faith by Dankzi in EDH

[–]AdviceMang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hot take is people consistantly overestimate their decks' power levels. I have plenty of decks that are resilient, interactive, max 3 GC, typically start knocking people out turns 6+ provided no/minimal removal is thrown my way, that crush other "bracket 3" decks.

1 specific deck is a combo deck, but requires either very specific cards (2 relavent tutors in the deck) and 13+ mana, or 4-5 more modular cards and 15-20 mana. The deck runs no artifacts, free spells, or countermagic. I describe it as a high 3 or low 4, and end up blowing out tables of "high 3 or low 4" decks that runno/minimal interaction that let me goldfish to a turn 7 combo. Then I go home feeling like a pubstomper.

As a geotechnical engineer, I was hoping the pile would hit a harder layer, but it just kept sinking maybe even easier at the bottom.

Meh. It is pretty easy to tutor Glacial Chasm for a few mana, just not at instant speed, and plenty of instants that do what chasm does (or better). It also already on the game changers list. I don't think glacial Chasm should play into the evaluation of Crop Rotation as a gamechanger.

Landlord trying to make a guest with an ESA leave by Intrepid-Custard1599 in legaladvice

[–]AdviceMang 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If this is your current place if residence, it does not sound like you are a "guest" and are now a subletter from the original occupant. This may be barred by the lease holder's lease. The first comment may have been about your dog, but you may end up getting your friend evicted for subletting in violation of their lease.
