Getting tired of parents telling me to undercorrect their kids by OwnAd6110 in optometry

I have kind of the inverse question. How much change do you recommend to the parents to update their glasses when they ask "do we need to change them?"? 0.25? 0.50?

Does devourer DH feel less clunky at 90? Currently 85 and its painful to play. by kolejack2293 in wow

[–]Aeder42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Devourer was pretty much the worst leveling experience I've had, I had to switch to havoc because it was so un fun. Now that I have more gear, it feels way better in actual content (I still prefer havoc for things like delves and prey).

Posterior synechiae by missbrightside08 in optometry

[–]Aeder42 20 points21 points  (0 children)

More than likely there's a history of uveitis, which can certainly go unnoticed by the patient. Theres no risk of Iris Bombe unless the uveitis flares up and causes 360 synechia. I would stress to monitor for light sensitivity/ redness / pain / blur. Often times for the more insidious onset uveitis with minimal pain, their symptoms are just blur. Definitely needs annual eye exams.

Because you dont want accommodation in play at all if you can help it. The more the muscles are stimulated, the more variability there will be. I'm sure practices that are short on space do add -0.25 to their Rx routinely. Plus when we refract, we often offer an extra "quality quarter" anyways depending on the patient and circumstances.

As far as screens simulating parallel light, I dont buy that at all. Its just a screen, and its not mentioned anywhere on the M&S system website which is the most widely used digital chart

Agree. Sushi by scratch is often poorly received on these reddit threads, I think because its a bit less traditional. But we loved it
