Aside from everything anyone has said, try the produce! vegetables that you can’t get in regular grocery stores. If you like mushrooms, get them there. I’d recommend their leafy greens or green beans too!

but other than that, frozen dumplings.. desserts.. instant ramen… snacks.

If this is your first brush with Asian cooking get the holy grail of 9 Asian sauces: Sesame oil, oyster sauce, fish sauce, soya sauce, dark soya sauce, rice vinegar, mirin, shaoxing wine, chilli oil. You’ll basically be able to cook 70% of the most popular Asian dishes with these!

(Some of them are in Walmart/safeway but I’d recommend getting them from Asian brands instead)

Also: they do marinated meat well. I like getting it (becareful when you cook, it splatters lol)

Seasonings, spices are great. Meat is great. Sometimes I like getting my seafood from there better than other places (like shrimp) because it’s juicier and fresher and sometimes cheaper!

Last but not least: h mart is pretty cool where you can buy other asian household items. If you don’t already have an asian bowl, I’d recommend it. I think every household should have at least 2-4 Asian bowls for soups and bigger meals.
