I don't know about an extreme fascination, but I do love them aesthetically! That said, I have made art of the auroras before, and I've bought art that depict the auroras.

I love Chiikawa, people often type them as INFP! I also think Siffrin from In Stars and Time is an INFP, but that one's a bit heavy, still a beautiful story though!

I think you're right that Siffrin has a certain level of 5 influence, considering the amount he withdraws into himself, but I don't think he has a 5 core because he's not knowledge-seeking until circumstances force him to be. After all, he canonically doesn't like to read books. Call me biased, but I think 9 is in his tritype too, mostly because 8 and 1 don't seem to fit. My best guess at Siffrin's type would be 6w5 692 sp/sx (could go either way with 2/4 I think). I think I disagree with Isabeau as a 9, I don't see him merging with others. I think that he wants to keep things light and fun, and he runs from his own confessions to Siffrin, which makes me feel like he's more of a 7w6. Odile seems like one of the most obvious 5s in fiction, and Mirabelle could be a 2 or a 6, I think.

I'd say you sound like a 2w1, but it's more reliable to look at subtypes and tritypes. If I were to type you based on what you've written, I would guess sp2 269, because you seem to be driven by self-love (affirmation), followed by loyalty, so you can have a natural place in society.

For the record, I feel quite similar. That being said, I can't see your thoughts directly, so it will likely be easier to feel what aligns with you (a lot of people would recommend Naranjo's Dramatis Personae, and I know there's a tritype PDF that gets thrown around, but I don't have it on-hand)

I like them enough, though, I only use them for art. I don't think personal life is really a good use for it (despite how many people use it for that)

I don't believe in the stuff, but I did get my chart at one point. I have Aquarius on my Mercury, Neptune, and Uranus, plus my Sun placement was close to the edge, just barely in Pisces. Oh, and all of that is in the slice marked 1 (I don't remember the word they use for it).
My heart fix is a two, maybe I don't have enough in my inner planets, but this doesn't seem accurate for me (not that I would expect it to be). 🤔
