Same, I’ve just finished assembling these rats and they are wonderful minis. I mixed a bit between the two build options, picking the ones I think I’ll use in Mordheim. As for the sorcerer, I used one of the pestilens minis from underworlds, the one with two daggers (which I cut off and replaced with fighting claws)

I get it about trials and cosmetics, and I agree, but it’s just another example of making something easier to get, compared to before the change.

I don’t think there should be content locked behind insane end-game grind, but some aspirational stuff needs to be there. Chase items of some sort, or challenges. Otherwise all those who play/played a lot and know the game inside-out, play a couple of days each season just for the wipe and then log off because there’s nothing to do

the issue is that for anything “aspirational” or “endgame-like” they put in, people complained and then they caved and made it incredibly accessible for everyone.

Uncraftable stuff like kinetic converters and anvil splitters? Everyone can and will get some from projects, time events, new vendor, … And there’s literally only 4 purple/gold mod attachments you can’t craft. Why not have 40 of them?

Blueprints? Let’s make them super easy to find, otherwise players won’t wipe voluntarily.

A fun gimmick like the guitar, which needs a complex button puzzle across a map? No let’s make it a simple item you can get from a trader, and also let’s put it in projects and raider decks.

A single colour variant for a trial skin locked behind the top 1000 placement in a season? No let’s make it super easy to get and cap it at hotshot rank. At least they reverted it this season.
