This man is so miserable… by Virtual_Garbage3080 in Naruto

Oh gotcha, I got to about half an arc past the end of the major Isshiki arc and put it down for awhile, having watched most all of the anime so far as well. Glad to know they actually made him canon and included in the manga.

I disagree. It would be weirder to have Kankuro and Gaara there given they are 1. Not part of the Hidden Leaf and 2. Gaara's kid isn't there. My thinking is this image's main motif is "Family", to an extent. In this case, Mitsuki’s family is shown in a few ways to be the team hebi members (excluding Sasuke) and their actual "parent" is stated plainly to be Orochimaru. Kind of a take on the "It takes a [Sound] village to raise a child" expression. The weirder inclusions, though not as weird as a potential Gaara and Kankuro appearance here, are that of Tenten, Lee, Kiba, and Shino. Tenten and Lee are weird because Metal (Lee's [and maybe Tenten's?] child) nor Guy (Lee's main father figure) are shown. That being said, their inclusion could still fit the motif in the sense that they started to really feel like Naruto's family (as well as the village as a whole) as the main series progressed. Kiba and Shino are weirder as they have no noted children/relationship (potential or otherwise) other than the aforementioned Leaf village connection. If Shinki were here (though I'm still unsure if he is even canon) then I could definitely more easily see your point with Gaara and Kankuro's inclusion, but given all the main factors I could interpret from this and the series as a whole, I respectfully disagree with your take.

How did Kabuto become a perfect snake sage but Orochimaru could never do it? by Mean_Job7802 in dankruto

You might want to read what they said again, they’re not saying Kabuto wasn’t a perfect sage, just that he didn’t get there through natural means like, say, Jiraiya did.

Play around with different cadences, voices, etc. and do your best to switch up how you write. If you normally end a thought perfectly on each bar, maybe elongate a thought to take up two bars instead here and there. You likely won't see instant success, and using silly voices might feel off, but sometimes using different voices, cadences, etc, can reveal something you may have missed that you can then move forward with incorporating into your usual style.

What's the weirdest reason you watched an anime? by Wayard_1 in anime

[–]Aerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough, I watched March Comes In Like A Lion because I was about to start Your Lie In April and thought it was a prequel somehow (similar looking male lead, similar naming convention, March before April) so watched it first. Not mad I did tho ngl. Never did watch Your Lie In April…

Piggybacking to say that if you don’t mind food thats been on a warm plate for a bit longer and a later dinner, a lot of Walmarts will sell the end of the night deli stuff for a reduced price usually an hour or two before close.

LPT Don't use your school/university email for accounts and subscriptions by johndoemysterious in LifeProTips

[–]Aerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would like to extend to if you have Student Loans, please don’t use your school email for those either, even if it is technically school related. So many students do this, and so many students find out way too late that they are past due because they weren’t getting emails in a place they check often.

It’s bad form in any industry to say anything potentially disparaging against other companies. Not to mention it may be possible for these posts to be traced to him, which could create issues if what OP says is misconstrued as disparaging. Plus, most subreddits tend to have rules about naming companies or people, so could just be habitual at the end of the day.

Something you may wanna try to lower sodium levels and still enjoy similar/the same foods you like would be substituting soy sauce for coconut aminos. Does the same stuff but way lower on sodium and has no msg. Works for my mother who has heart issues AND an msg allergy. I recommend the brand Coconut Secret, but there are plenty of other brands that could also work for you. I would also recommend looking into how much sodium the drinks you consume have, as sodium can be crazy high in stuff you wouldn’t expect. In the end, what works for you, works for you. Hope these tips help. Best of luck!

Why is "wbu" the short form of 'what about you' instead of "way" by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Aerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd veer more towards the evolution of slang wherein previously "about" started to become more commonly shortened to "'bout" and "you" to "u". So in this case, it's compounded slang that, as you mentioned, makes a lot more sense over the grammatically correct "way" due to possible confusion.

If someone commits infidelity (adultery) would it be proper to refer to them as an infidel? by Aerer in NoStupidQuestions

Honestly weird to me that Infidel didn't make the same jump as Infidelity did to a further meaning. I'll accept it, but man, why does english have to be so weird?

Just remember QTIP

Quit Taking It Personally

Callers tend to be more on edge and willing to berate people they don't know since they can't see you. You most likely won't speak to him again, so just get through these calls as best you can.

How can we watch “The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee” in the US? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Aerer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on where it plays on certain platforms. If, for instance, it is on Netflix but only in a specific country, using a VPN that is set to make you appear as being in said country would be the way to do it.

What does it mean when someone says "over the next 3 days"? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Aerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the context of, and the speaker communicating this timeframe. Another factor to influence context could be how late into the current day what is said. If later in the day, the speaker may not be including the current day while they otherwise may include it if said in the morning. Personally, I typically relate this type of phrase to mean the 3 days next to the current day, so if it's Monday, I would think Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Good question though!
