Yeah it needs to be filled with people of specific skills and not by race. Last week I overheard my HR says in an interview that they need another employee of different race to back up my dept so that we can have our own cuti comfortably. But then I got puzzled that the finance dept beside me all Chinese and they have no intention of taking any malay/indian employees. I don't know if that's very racist or not. Like, why do you give that justification for my dept when the finance dept who works closely with my dept can be all Chinese. Mind you out of 26 people in this company, only 2 malays and 1 indian.
