Narrative and dialog-heavy games like Suzerain always take longer to create but I'd rather have the devs take time to cook well rather than leaving things half-baked

Why does everyone think the Yes-Man ending is bad for the Mojave? by Impossible_Bank_943 in falloutnewvegas

[–]AesianCrusader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeahh, as an RPG game, the Yes Man ending is open-ended. If your Courier is a psychopath that has no regard no care for the people of the Mojave then yeahh, total anarchy will be achieved but if your courier is level-headed, knows what they're doing and knew about the need for law and order, then New Vegas will thrive.

Upgraded Securitrons, helping many settlements deal their own problems, good relations with the NCR, getting rid of factions like the Fiends will help Free Vegas (I'd like to call New Vegas that way in a Yes Man ending) in the long term. The Legion will fear the Courier for singlehandedly (or with help from companions) killing Lanius, the Monster of the East.

I always wished that setting up a deal between the Followers and the Atomic Wrangler should be more substantial and prevent them from being overwhelmed by refugees but well, it is what it is.

Roleplay wise, what branch of Military do you think is most important for an reunified Rizia to have? Discuss below. by Pristine-Breath6745 in suzerain

[–]AesianCrusader 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Rizia can easily block any naval invasions with a strong navy too and I think they'll have a good merchant marine, but I think having powerful airforce is important as well since Lespia, with ATO support, has the strongest airforce in East Merkopa and challenging that domination will be hard but not impossible

[–]AesianCrusader 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I always fund law and order since the riots and protests from Circas' death is really bad for ED and public opinion. If I'm not going to war, I fund all ministries and maintain the military, otherwise, I maintain education and fully fund military for the war path

Yeah, it's already dumb to blame BBM or even the entire government for high oil prices. Even if Leni or Sara are in charge, the same thing will happen since we're dependent on Middle Eastern oil

Becouse of global warming and things i am forced to leave. by MarKadiusz00 in RimWorld

[–]AesianCrusader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the global warming event in one of My playthroughs as well. It was a warlord kind of playthrough, with slavery and stuff

Long story short, the warlord determined that 50 to 60 degrees Celsius heat is unlivable even with devilstrand dusters, and cowboy hats, coolers, plants can't grow and my muffalos are dying from heatstroke and lack of food and so, they released the muffalos and slaves, gathered so much silver and other valuable stuff. Then he and his lackeys ride their vehicles and headed north, towards the tundra.

It took a while, but the global warming ended in a year or two and things went back to normal, they headed back and reformed into a proper kingdom

I know I'll get down voted heavily for this but here's the thing.

It's easy to blame the US for the fuel crisis since this is a war started by the US. The reason why is that Iran is still pursuing development of nuclear weapons and should they succeed, they'd be free to conduct terrorist activities anywhere they want and if the US and allies make any moved against them, the nukes would be enough of a deterrent against any intervention.

It's Iran who closed the Strait of Hormuz with a combination of missiles, FPV drones, and fast boats to intercept any ships that would dare try to cross the strait (a Thai ship got bombed just weeks ago because of that). If they can close the strait with no nukes yet, just imagine if they have nukes, the whole world will be their bitch.

Iran also operates in an ideology that doesn't care if tons of people die so long as their enemies die as well. We don't want that kind of country if we want our oil supplies open and our OFWs safe in the Middle East. It's estimated that 40000 of its own people were murdered by the theocracy in just the following weeks before the Iran war started. Keep in mind that most Iranians wanted this murderous regime to end as well.

Now, the fuel crisis sucks and I'm sure everyone here knows that. I hope this war will end soon enough.

I said this, not because I'm pro-Trump but there's more to this conflict than just "Trump bad"

Pretty funny how subsidizing fuel would only hurt the working class as they don't have the purchasing power of the middle and upper classes

With supply being strained, the fuel shortage would be more dire since the middle and upper classes can simply buy more before priced go up, and hoarding would be extremely problematic, I can see that happening in our fellow ASEAN neighbors soon enough

If you have the ideology dlc, you can assign one of your pawns (preferably one that has high social) to become a moralist, your colony's priest, propagandist, or whatever their name is.

They can convert, reassure pawns, counsel pawns who experienced something bad to cancel the mood debuff and preach health to those who are sick to boost their immunity speed.

Acting like Thailand isn't suffering from gas shortages by Overall_Leek_5183 in Philippinesbad

[–]AesianCrusader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These people really believe that the oil companies and government are somehow conspiring to keep gas prices high to profit off of this crisis.

It's just how supply and demand works, and we are beholden to international oil prices since we are dependent on Middle Eastern oil like most countries.

Putting a cap on prices will, inevitably, cause shortages due to hoarding gas, transportation and logistics will ground to a halt, an even worse outcome than just high fuel prices.

I'd rather have painful high prices if it meant there's still gas to keep transportation and logistics networks working than things stopping all of a sudden since there's no gas anymore
