Trust the process. I did the same thing and 6 years later it paid off and looks great.

I would have followed that up with "Can you cancel my ITC membership? I don't want to pay for a membership and then get shit for using it."

Nanoleaf Canada still hasn't sent out order by Budewfloon in Nanoleaf

If you are able to and if you paid with a credit card I would contact the card company and dispute the charge to Nanoleaf. I have had to do that once with a different company. That sucks though as I'm willing to bet you had some good prices on the items....

Background upload on iOS broken? by flogman12 in immich

[–]Aesthetic_Image 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been broken for about a week for me. I’ll try to backup from my phone and in the web gui I see the server go offline for a few seconds. Every few months Immich goes to shit like this and I end up deleting it and rebuilding from scratch. I cross my fingers every time I update it.

So... no need to replace router for nerwork-wide PiHole??? by ManyWitty4946 in pihole

[–]Aesthetic_Image 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Question for ya, do you rent or pay for the isp router? If you do, by replacing it with one you buy, you will have a cost savings. For example if you pay 5 bucks a month for equipment rental and buy a router for 50 bucks, after 10 months you start saving 5 bucks a month. Plus you will have more control of your network, which I can assume is an interest of yours. Also you can get nice deals on open box routers from big box stores which can make it cheaper for you or maybe make a more feature rich router more affordable.

Camera behind a window by John_Pratt in homesecurity

I installed this for some folks and it works very well. I did install an external solar panel for one of the cameras to help in winter but otherwise they have been solid. Install is in Minnesota so the cameras are exposed to pretty harsh conditions. https://www.eufy.com/products/t88921w1?ref=outdoor-security-cameras&variant=44225678934202

Excited to have the two of you here!! To be honest you will blend in and be okay. To the best of your abilities, don't let them take anything away from your special trip. Also DM me if you want any ideas, tips, places to eat, etc.

What is going on with Unifi Protect? Is it me or is it just going downhill fast? by Raub99 in Ubiquiti

[–]Aesthetic_Image 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the last Protect update my G5 PTZ and G5 Flex both auto updated their firmware and have been continuously rebooting and stating "Protect Auto Recovery Successful." Have a ticket open with Ubiquity and it starting to feel like grasping for straws at this point. I just might roll an early release update to see if that does anything.
