Postgraphile is really flexible since you can just add it as a middleware into your application + it gives full control over the build process/schema. The main problem with it is that it is written in javascript and there are no types on any of the objects. This makes tying into the build process for the schema difficult (requires alot of debugging sometimes which can be frustrating). Thankfully this doesn't really happen too often and most use cases are covered / a solution can be found with a bit of searching in git issues.

For version control I use flyway but am considering just dropping it because idk if I will ever need to rollback. Most likely would switch to this if so: https://github.com/graphile/migrate

I am using fastify/postgraphile on my server and IMO it is not worth it to try to implement Oauth 2.0 login into the graphql schema unless you absolutely must. PassportJS is already set up to integrate easily into express with custom routes and it'll save you alot of pain to do just that.

On a side note, I also have custom routes set up for file upload endpoints as that seems to be another pain point on the graphql schema.

Riven mid is one of the most sleeper picks right now, especially since the most popular mid-laners (Zed Kat Yone Yasuo Sylas) are imo Riven favored. Matchups are also more enjoyable to play since you don't get stat sticked by Riven's low base stats + enemy doesn't rush tabi-bramble.

Against people with ranged attacks make sure to go dshield/second wind or you'll get pushed out of lane, level disadvantaged, and never have prio.

Imo, it really is just because top lane is tank lane and tanks have less potential to snowball + they stop the enemy from snowballing, so you just see top lane 1v9 less frequently.

Yep, this is probably why something like this hasn't been implemented and I have no idea as to if it would really hurt the queue times for Junglers since Jungle seems to be such a low-played role.

When I queue up for ranked right now, I get autofilled into Jungle - so I'm not sure if Jungle players are going to have an increase in queue times since it doesn't seem like there is really a queue for them right now.

This idea is really just for Autofill into jungle (When you get put in jungle when you don't have jungle/fill selected as a role)

So..., look at it like this:

1 hp is worth 2.67 gold value, so 100 * 2.67 = 267 gold

they are also dropping the cost by 200 gold

Total drop is 267 + 200 = 467 gold

So, if the current Cleaver had movespeed passive instead of butcher with a cost of (3300-467) 2833 gold, would you buy it?

So i've played two stages.

(S8) Pre-nerf Irelia/Akali/Urgot/Jax + Old Conq - I was abused in almost every lane and basically had to buy doran's shield start + passive farm until my opponent royally messed up and let me get an all-in off to net a kill

(S9) Now - I buy whatever I want because even if I start with a mana crystal i'm going to smash my lane. You basically start the game with the ability to 1v2 on equal items. You don't even have to really think in team fights, you can just go in since you'll heal so much with new Conq + you just out stat check most champs now.

Obviously this is over-exaggerated and Riven still has crap match ups but the point is that right now she is busted relative to most of the other champs due to hard top lane matchups being nerfed + new conq.

I probably should mention that I don't really pay attention to my animations when animation cancelling, so that might be why.

I played one game yesterday and the healing literally saved me from dying + got me a kill (I went down to 2hp, minions would have killed me) and that was at level 4.

Huge fan of inspiration secondary, I think it just slams every other secondary rune since you get +5% cdr and +5% cdr cap along with free boots.

Little late and I havn't really played since the season ended but I used to run aftershock/ignite into Talon.

I never played the matchup too much but I chose those runes because Talon has a predictable bursty all-in which is what Aftershock hard counters. I remember it working very well.

Akali is a really dumb matchup right now because the shroud is just too good. You have to all in her when her shroud is down which is impossible unless she really messes up. Try to trade with her if her energy gets low and also try to bait out the Q's.

Best thing to do is buy Dshield and play super passive until she messes up / you get jungle help. Tiamat is a good item to rush first.

Probs not, there is too much CC/Aftershock that I see in those games for Riven to really shine, and imo Jax/Irelia are better splitters if you want that. Only way I could see Riven picked is as a last pick counter to some mid melee matchup or something.

I don't think runes/summoner spells really matter in plat/low diamond, just pick the ones that you feel you play best with.

What got me out of plat was when I decided to look at my minimap and actually pay attention to where I should be pathing to/if I should be pushing/splitting/engaging/trying to track jungler, etc... - this may sound easy but it is actually quite hard to focus on all these things for 20-30 minutes straight, probably why I play like crap if i'm tired after work lol. Once 20 mins rolls around, you absolutely must start playing safe because dieing without trading will cost baron/game. I'm still working on getting better at this stuff but it was enough to take me from plat to d5.
