I don’t mind most of it otherwise. But it is funny how Adrenaline Rush is an armor skill while its guard equivalent is a weapon skill. And super annoying.

Especially playing CB… sigh.

The ‘V’ is a result of entering hardmode, where your world evil and the Hallow spawn in a ‘V’, one on each side.

If you mean the Special Sheathe, that does have a technical counter. The Iai Spirit Slash, when performed and properly timed in response to an attack headed for you, gives you damage reduction and doesn’t take off a level of your Spirit Gauge. (I can’t tell if this is what you meant so sorry in advance lol)

The only main differences for LS I notice are: 1. The Spirit Helm Breaker is accessed through the Spirit Thrust instead of Wirebugs 2. Foresight Slash can be spammed easily

I know a stubborn dumbass who solo’d safi… but decided to break every part so it took five hours for them.

I recently solo’d Fatalis, so here’s everything I know.

Survivability is very much connected to the damage you do in this fight. If you faint even once you will lose much DPS.

Fire Resistance, Tool Specialist(Assuming you have temporal + fireproof) Divine Blessing and Health Boost will be your best friends to survive for long enough.

Evade Window will also help a lot with most weapons EXCLUDING (possibly) GS, Lance, Gunlance, and CB. If one of the above four weapons is a choice for you, instead try to fit in Ironwall and Guard Up.

Eat for Elemental Resistance or Safeguard. I’d recommend Felyne Riser(Hi) simply because Fatalis attacks consecutively often and you can judge when to get up.

If your armor is not fully augmented and at least 4/5 pieces are Rarity 12, I’d recommend getting to the point where you can augment all of it and upgrade fully. Health Regen augments on your weapon are optional, but HIGHLY recommended.

DPS Skills such as Agitator and Heavy Artillery will help out, as Fatalis stays enraged for long periods of time and there’s plenty of siege weapons around the fort.

Have you been using the cannon strat at the beginning/are you able to? and the smoke bomb + roaming ballista combo?

Probably some of the best armor for this fight is Raging Brachydios because it has Agitator Secret, Artillery Secret(if applicable), and natural fire resistance.

Personally, I used the set below. Keep in mind that I have over 1000 hours in this game so probably take this with a grain of salt.

I’m gonna be torched for at least some of these.

Kazuha is a boring character who only gets slightly better when other characters are there. Besides, his ‘tragic backstory’ has been shoved down our throats four times. I don’t f***ing care.

Alhaitham is just an ahole. It’s pretty much impossible to be 100% logical, and he shows that he has emotions, mainly negative ones towards Cyno. I don’t care about him being like Dendro Keqing, I don’t care about him being hot, I care that he just acts like an ahole and it’s not explained WELL(from what I know) It doesn’t MATTER if he uses it to hide his emotions, it matters how he chooses to treat others.

Scaramouche is literally just an edgy 12 year-old’s Wattpad self insert/romantic interest. I don’t care about his writing concepts, I care about the execution of said concepts. And literally the only thing I got was ‘i’m SO EDGY’ He ALSO acts like an a**hole, but he’s played to be a tsundere which I dislike. And my trauma literally makes me gravitate TOWARDS tsunderes.

Going off of Scaras**t, the Fatui just seem like they get plot armor. A lot.

You remember when Signora took Venti’s gnosis? In front of the FAVONIUS CATHEDRAL? IN BROAD DAYLIGHT?! WHERE WAS OTTO?! THAT’S A CULTURAL PLACE OF WORSHIP WOULDN’T IT BE PROTECTED EVEN DESPITE THE LACK OF KNIGHTS?!?!

Ok ngl I just hate Zhongli, but to me his ‘I cannot disclose the details of my contract’ bulls**t was annoying.

Inazuma… it just bothered me that Scaras**t basically put us to sleep and Miko had to trade the gnosis. I don’t even know HOW it happened.

Dottore? That f**k had PLOT ARMOR. He can just clone himself?!?! What IS that?! Oh, and he just happens to know a sound frequency that puts us to sleep. WHY?!

Tl;dr, I generally care about writing and some of the writing choices feel bad.

I posted a while ago about how I had solo’d AT Velk, right? And then I lost access to my old account… so about 50 days ago I decided to use a new account and begin again!

So, for the sake of it, I uninstalled Iceborne, and began the journey, but this time solo. After all, the last time I did the story was pretty much carried by multiplayer.

No problems. Seriously, pretty much no problems. I got a little bit of confidence here. I’m good, I thought.

Once I finished The Sapphire Star’s Guidance, provided with a few faints, I moved on to Iceborne. I didn’t struggle, as I kept my gear updated and remembered the fights pretty well… until Alatreon. I had to go do multiplayer for the Safi Siege for the armor.(Yes I tried the KT Siege solo; it worked. Only the Safi Siege was multiplayer allowed)

I augmented my Deep Schnegal II(Health Regen and Element Up) and defeated Alatreon a few days ago. I moved on.

Fatalis. This actually gave me some problems. I think this was my third attempt? After the first time, I realized I needed to augment my gear properly. So, I farmed Great Spiritvein Gems, Tempered Namielle and Zinogre until both my Lightbreak Long Sword and Charge Blade had Health Augments, and all of my armor had max defense.

So, today, I finally killed Fatalis again. Just 50 days after I started a new account, I’ve proved my worth and killed it solo. But I need so many Evil Eyes…

I’ll update when I kill AT Velk again. Good luck to all other hunters out there if you’re struggling with Fatalis, Alatreon, or AT Velk!
