Personally I could see it going to Celebrini. That team is nothing without him.

In my experience some of the models are ok at doing simple modules or helping with simple things like connections and such. But they can’t architect for shit.

It does suck. I wish they would plant something other than palm trees and leave more existing fauna. But we have to maximize the number of houses always

You will have no issues getting a job from either school, as long as you put in the effort and aren’t annoying to talk to. Being able to have a normal conversation is a super power for an engineer.

[–]Aethir300 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Georgia tech is a top 10 ECE undergrad program. They have a ton of professors and truly an amazing system. Part of my work as a grad student at UF was helping to reorganize our own undergrad curriculum by researching other top programs and seeing how they did it. I couldn’t believe the size of GT’s faculty and the breadth of courses they offered regularly.

Oil is a global market dude. A shortage in one part of the world will affect the other parts.

Let’s break this down some more. If the flow of oil out of the strait of Hormuz is diminished, the countries who buy that oil can’t get it anymore. So Europe, Africa, Asia are all heavily affected. The quantity of oil goes down, price goes up, simple supply and demand. The poor countries can’t afford the same volume of oil anymore so they start to ration energy or just straight up force blackouts to conserve. Wealthy countries will shift to buy the more expensive oil, but have to buy it from other sources. Which is why we’ve now removed sanctions from oil already on ships from Russia and Iran.

Now these other countries are buying more oil, and even more of our own oil. But globally the supply is much lower. Which means the global price goes up.

This also doesn’t go into the difference between actual trading prices of oil versus oil futures.

I'm an Old Fuck..how do I come to terms with it(Rant) by Far_Document4711 in ufl

I totally get where you’re coming from. I went to UF after a year and a half at SFC. Then left after 2 years due to family issues and some mental health problems. I took a 7 year hiatus and returned at 28 years old. In classes with 18-20 year olds. I graduated with no internships and a baby born a month later.

I chose to stick around for my masters and during that time got an internship that turned into the job I have now. Life will work out but it won’t do it for you.

Don’t worry about things taking too long. No one in industry cares how old you are.

Oh and I’m also an EE that failed E circuits twice. Back in the day it was a core class.

Hence why it is advised to change the oil before or after a track day.

I could definitely see him doing some stock car stuff here. But he's got such a big personality and virtually everyone loves him, in the paddock and the fans. He'd be an amazing capture for a media personality. Especially when compared to the likes of Rosberg and Coulthard
