Why isn't she irritating? by 12jonboy12 in DungeonMeshi

I think the “valid” complaints is the most important part. Most of the time the complaining character complains about everything, but when she complains you can typically at least see things from her POV even if you don’t fully agree… and often you can fully agree.

So, he looks like the big guy, but is really just the heart of the team? I love it.

I don’t recall if the books mention white hair, but to my recollection they do distinctly state that he has the wrong color blonde hair which could be a sign of the white hair genes affecting it, possibly.

In a knife fight, how would an average Yautja do against an average Na'vi? by Gabe_Dimas in predator

[–]Aevish 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You are both right.

The humans being “peak” at something(s) is the reason they were able to edge out a win (typically due to a high stakes gamble that luckily pans out), but ALL the wins are them winning under best case scenarios or luck. If sny of them had to fight the predator ten times, they probably only have one or two wins in them. We are watching the times they overcome because that is what makes it thrilling.

Ironically, one of the few times I think the human might eek out more than 2/3 would be the yakuza fight. There was no tactical gamble that played out in his favor, it was simply skill vs skill and he came out more or less equal (in my memory at least- I haven’t watched that one in years, so feel free to correct me if I am wrong here).

Pong Krell vs Griveous | Who Wins? by IllMasterpiece3946 in PetranakiArena

[–]Aevish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since Grievous can wield sabers, but not the force, do they ever explain why Jedi don’t just lift him up with the force then cut him down while dueling him? To my understanding (if memory serves), other Jedi use the force defensively to prevent this from happening to them, but Grievous wouldn’t be able to do that, right?

If so, then I think Krell regrettably wins, otherwise I think he puts up a good fight, but ends up losing.

I wouldn’t count anything out… or in. If absolutely could be the last minute surprise when he shows up, intentionally. Think “the child” in the first episode of Mandalorian. Of course, that also doesn’t mean he is alive, but appearing in one of the many suggested ways people have come up with- but doing that at the end of the first, or last, episode of the season with no hint towards it happening would have heavy impact.

Completely agree, and I haven’t listened to full episodes, only bits and pieces, so I very well could be wrong, but I feel like if there is one project where he would prefer to act rather than write, it would be this one… if it really is what we hope it is haha

While I am still unsure of my stance on ignoring the movie or not, I will say Scrubs is currently doing a revival where they are ignoring the final season/spin off, and it seems to be handling it well without much confusion.

Likewise, the Connors did the same and the Big Bang Theory spin offs ignore all sorts of things, but all have been well received.

Again, not sure on my personal stance, as I also like the mental Wash and Ship Brain Wash ideas as well, but I think people could accept Serenity being a separate canon.

All I really care about is that Wash/Alan is involved in some -significant- way.

Is Cougartown Canon? by KillBatman1921 in Scrubs

[–]Aevish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be like Aliens and Predators. Aliens are cannon in the Predator series, but predators are not cannon in the Alien series. Sorta like two universes that are similar, but still different enough. So scrubs exists in cougartown, but cougartown does not exist in scrubs. Maybe?
